Hipólito Salinas aka. Polo (AR). Hailing from Pinamar, Argentina, music has always been important in his life. Currently studying Film Scoring at UCA, Buenos Aires, city that showed him the electronic dance scene and its culture which soon after, became his passion.
He's been supported by many of the scene finest tastemakers like Hernan Cattaneo, Guy J, Gorje Hewek, Izhevski, Nacho Varela & Cruz Vittor, Maxi Degrassi, Ezequiel Arias, among other great artists.



Valentín Ortiz aka. NODO, from La Pampa, had the bliss of growing alongside some great artists like Simon Vuarambon, Kevin Di Serna and Andy Arias. The emotional tints from Thom Yorke and Gustavo Cerati were of great importance through his first stages. Being able to make music with friends like Marian, Mule, Nebula and Polo is what creatively encourages NODO. He's been supported by high-caliber artists like John Digweed, Guy J, Gorje Hewek, Amonita and Facundo Mohrr, just to mention a few.

The Israeli artist's unique sonic palette crosses a multitude of feelings and emotions, and the two tracks that make up the EP are a testament to his range and talent.

Beginning with 'Superstition', ethereal vocals and rolling percussion underlay a robust, musical force that keeps an energetic pace with musical hints of his Middle Eastern culture peppered throughout.

Following in the footsteps of fellow countryman Roy Rosenfeld, who did the most recent Balance Selections mix, we welcome yet another established producer from Israel.
An illustrious career stretching over two decades has seen, Chico Shuella, become one of Israel’s most respected and sought after DJs and producers. Operating under his Chicola production moniker, he has transformed the underground house scene in his homeland while making giant strides on a global scale.
He is a skilled DJ, and producer, with well over dozen productions to his name releasing on labels such as Sudbeat, Microcastle, Plattenbank, Selador, and Lost & Found. It was also Guy J’s label where he released his debut full-length album, ‘Could Heaven Be’, containing 12-tracks, which explored progressive, dub, and techno soundscapes...

Welcome to NUANCES - 001
A subtle difference, distinction, or variation; a subtle quality.
A sensibility to, awareness of, or ability to express delicate gradations of a meaning (as of an attitude or expression) or of a form (as of its values, textures, or shades, tints, or tones of color, etc.). "Nuance" came to English in the late 18th century, having been "nubes" in Latin, then "nue" in Middle French, each meaning "cloud." In later French, "nue" developed into "nuer" meaning "to make shades of color."

This word is used in music to denote the various modifications of time, force, and expression, which are the most prominent characteristic of modern music, whether indicated by the composer or inserted by the performer.

Each month I will be posting a new exclusive mix specially made with the tracks I love at the moment produced by super talented artists around the globe. You can expect a deeper side of me, some others more club oriented, some live sets recorded at my gigs, even some downtempo sets, this way you can enjoy this mixes in your car going to work, on your vacations, on your chill out sessions with friends, etc.
