‘This Fine Light’, the 3rd single , in this current crop, from Manchester indie anthem makers, Alias Kid, starts with a  stripped back vocal and builds builds builds into yet another monster of an anthem. Guitars and vocals surging to an eye watering crescendo. 

 Following on from the much loved She Don’t Yeah Yeah Yeah and Gonna Be A Star it once again confirms their status as one of the best groups out of Manchester right now . Tight as #### as musicians, their songwriting gets stronger and stronger ( hailed by Shaun Ryder ). 

Alias Kid 

Alias Kid have had enough false starts to last them a lifetime. Signed to Cherry Red/359 by Alan McGee (on the night of only their 3rd live show. They immediately rose to prominence on the UK up-and-coming scene and their debut album ‘Revolt to Revolt’ saw the band establish themselves as they toured with the likes of Black Grape, The Enemy, The Jesus & Mary Chain, Sleaford Mods and Happy Mondays (to name just a few). Then the label imploded..

Just as the band were ascending again…BANG ! Covid hit and slowed things down for the band considerably, for personal and practical reasons. 

Once lockdown was over they regrouped with a new line up and went back into the studio , now ready to release the spoils of their efforts upon an unsuspecting world. 

Having toured extensively across the UK and Europe, (headlining gigs and radio appearances as far afield as Moscow), and supporting a host of established bands as well as playing their own headline shows across the UK, Alias Kid have seen their music gain a whole host of industry and radio support from the likes of BBC Radio 6 Music, Planet Rock, XS Manchester and Radio X. With features in the likes of Louder Than War, XS Noize, Rolling Stone and The Mirror, the band already have a rich history of success and are hoping to resume their journey skyward.
