The next instalment in our mix series is from the founder of Murky Sonics, Avran! He takes us through a journey from 140 bpm to 170 bpm, showcasing the range of genres Murky Sonics will be bringing to MASH on the 25th October- including dubstep, half-time and, of course, drum 'n' bass.

Ahead of our upcoming collaboration with Murky Sonics, we thought it'd be fitting to link up with Murky co-founder Avran for a mix and a catch up.  Shifting between the gears for over an hour with a selection of percussive, bass-driven belters, the mix is brilliant snap shot of what makes Avran is about as a DJ. We can't wait to see what he brings to the table on the 27th!

Ahead of our next event this Friday in collaboration with RizeUp, we though it only right to get 1/2 of the MGMT team behind the decks again to treat you to some Monday evening beats.

This set was recorded live at the John Hughes Arts Festival last Friday and represents a slower and more left-field side of the Murky sound. In this mix Avran traverses through the plains of experimental dub, hip-hop and techno with tracks that hark back to the progressive sounds coming out the '90s.
