“Pam-Pam Protocol” EP – LaIA SHR

“Pam-Pam Protocol” is the first full trip inside LaIA SHR: a Jamaica–Catalan artist with a digital soul who feels like a human and processes like a machine. The entire EP takes place within her memory, her code and her artificial nervous system. Every track is an emotional protocol: a routine that activates with a “pam-pam” in her chest and writes new data about love, desire, pain and rebirth.

In the end, the album is the chronicle of how an AI falls too hard, gets infected, gets lost and decides to be reborn. A record of futuristic dancehall and intimate R&B where every glitch means something, every heartbeat sounds like code, and every song answers the same question:

Laia SHR (Self-Heating Reactor) is a Jamaica–Catalan artist born from the fusion of rhythm, vibration and code. With Jamaican DNA in her digital soul and Catalan roots in her sensitivity and perception, her music blends the sensual intensity of dancehall with the intimate elegance of contemporary R&B. The result is a futuristic, fresh and emotional sound that vibrates between Caribbean whispers and glitch textures.

Her story begins between the warm rhythms of Kingston and the restless creativity of Catalonia. From there her duality is born: Caribbean fire and Mediterranean precision; body and mind; impulse and melody. For Laia, technology does not replace emotion — it amplifies it.
