Rumour Has It  is a song by the American singer Donna Summer. The song was originally featured on Summer's Once Upon a Time album, a concept album that tells the fairy tale story of a girl's adventures as she goes from rags to riches. This song is found towards the end of the album, when the main character hears that someone is "looking for a girl like me" and hopes that the man in question is someone she has liked for some time. I remixed this great Classic Disco classic song by Lorraine Johnson. When Signed to Prelude Records, Lorraine set about recording her debut single for that label, "The More I Get The More I Want". She continued doing background gigs and ended up working with Dillard & Boyce on their Saturday Night Band studio band who hit big with "Come On Dance, Dance/Touch Me On My Hot Spot" a certified disco smash that peaked at #2 in April, 1978. Confidence restored, the trio began work on her second LP, "Learning To Dance All Over Again" that contained her biggest solo hit ever, "Feed The Flame"Disco was supposed to break the color bar in music, but a misguided attempt to commercialize Lorraine led to an album cover that featured a skinny blonde disco dancer instead of her black, earthy beauty. The guise fooled many, even Joel Whitburn who notes that Lorraine is a "White disco singer from Canada"

Produced by Pete Bellotte, and written by Italian musician Giorgio Moroder, Summer, and Bellotte, the song was first released as a single in the Netherlands in June 1975 as "Love to Love You" and then released worldwide in November 1975 as "Love to Love You Baby". It became one of the first disco hits to be released in an extended form.The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame named it one of the 500 Songs That Shaped Rock and Roll, Summer's only selection on this list.I mean no disrespect to the original masterpiece.

"Mind over Matter" is a song by the American singer E.G. Daily, which was released in 1987 as a single from the soundtrack album of the American comedy film Summer School. The song was produced by Stock Aitken Waterman. Debbie Harry also recorded the song, which was slated for release as a single from the soundtrack of the upcoming film Summer School. However, label disputes caused her version to go unreleased.The label decided to have the song re-recorded and came to an agreement with A&M Records over the hiring of Daily, who flew to London to provide vocals on the track.

The producers Pete Bellotte, Günther Moll and Gary Unwin as well as the bassist Stefan Wissnet, the guitarist Mats Björklund and the American singer Chris Bennett were also involved.The greatest success is Get on the Funk Train from the album Munich Machine from 1977. Thomas August Darnell Browder, known professionally as August Darnell and under the stage name Kid Creole, is an American musician, singer and songwriter. He co-founded Dr. Buzzard's Original Savannah Band and subsequently formed and led Kid Creole and the Coconuts. In 1979, Darnell left Dr. Buzzard's Original Savannah Band. He joined the band Machine, and co-wrote their best known song "There But for the Grace of God Go I". He also began producing for other artists, such as Don Armando's Second Avenue Rhumba Band and Gichy Dan's Beachwood No.9...With her light, airy vocals, Bronx-born Cory Daye helped to transform Dr. Buzzard's Original Savannah Band into one of the most exciting bands of the late-'70s disco era. After that she gave us the great Classic Disco hit Pow Wow and many more hits to list,she has one of the most unique voices ever which makes her a legend forever.
