Ah, here's a way for you to confirm. In the patch notes for 1.4, there is this item 'Screenshot names now contain the date they were taken on'.Take a screenshot with control+f11 (not the system built into steam but the one built into the game) and look into the game's install directory to find your screenshot.If the file name looks something like 'SH4Img@2015-12-1202.43.50345.bmp', then you are not running 1.3. I don't remember what the file name format was for pre-1.4 versions and I'm not going to install a fresh copy of the game just to find out. I've been very happy with my SH4 U-Boat Add-on digital purchase from Amazon (this, of course, is the SH4 version 1.5). I did the digital purchase in June 2014 and this is remembered by Amazon in my account under Games and Software Library. Thus, when I do a complete delete of SH4 from my computer, I can reload the game using my game disk to install SH4 and then download the U-Boat Add-on and install that too.
@Moonlessky guess that is the price of digital games, the patches don't help either tbh the 1tb micro SD is still quite expensive too last time I looked, I feel sorry the most for people with limited bandwidth who don't have this expansion and have to download the update anyways, not a great move from capcom
@SilentHunter382 : Quite a lot of the time, the DLC content is built into the patch, and the DLC purchase merely activates a flag that lets you access it. You can easily tell by observing the download size for the DLC and it happens to be really small (like 4MB or less).
@Gamer_Zeus Even the original switch hardware isn't 10 years old. The switch came out in 2017 and the hardware was revised in 2019 in a silent revision that saw a boost in its power. Fallout 76 was a bad game to begin with, like almost every battle royale game is. The hardware is far from gimped, in fact running homebrew on it allows one to unlock the fps in games like monster hunter and it still runs well. Don't like the on board storage, just add an sd card. I have two 400gbs and paid under $30 for each. Not enough? it can handle a 2tb max. Offers plenty of storage when swapping sd cards out is easy. Unlike say a ps5 that requires a set of specific m.2 drives with a heatsink and requires more effort to swap. Yes the read/write speed is better, but for the majority the additional work to swap it wouldn't fit with what nintendo wanted. The switch has its flaws, but it is still a great system. Don't like it, get a steamdeck if you want a similar experience. If not, there are other consoles, or PC. Developing for the switch isn't holding any devs back.
