A wooden room, a stellar sound system, and one of those rare nights where everything aligns. Closing down the Midiluxmas at Dachstock felt like stepping into a dream – time dissolving into rhythm. This set was about surrender, tension and release, deep dives and gentle lifts – a psychedelic journey shaped by the room, the people, and the moment.

Originally from France, HighCUE discovered his passion for underground music at massive raves and psytrance festivals across Europe. After moving to Western Canada, he began blending the raw energy of acid techno with the groovy signature of the West Coast.

Today, his sound has evolved into a deeper exploration of techno, tribal, and minimalist styles. With a love for old-school structure and analog textures, HighCUE builds spacious sets that leave room for live improvisation on his TB-3 acid bassline synth. His hybrid performances channel both nostalgia and innovation, taking listeners on unpredictable, high-voltage journeys across genres and eras.

Beyond the booth, HighCUE is also a community builder. With his partner, he co-founded Synesthesia—a Vancouver-based collective creating immersive underground events that merge cutting-edge sound with visionary production.

Terpene sind chemische Verbindungen in Pflanzen, mit denen diese untereinander kommunizieren können und bei uns Menschen verschiedene Wirkungen auslösen können. 
„Terpene“ versucht eine Verbingung zu schaffen zwischen Lebewesen, sie in ungeahnte Welten zu entführen und Mechanismen freizusetzen, um in unbekannte Bewusstseinszustände zu gleiten. Mal klar und transparent, mal verzerrte Wirklichkeit und Gewitter, von sphärisch schwebendem Ambient bis abstraktem oder gut tanzbarem Electronica ist alles möglich heute. Der Sound hat immer einen hohen Anteil an Improvisation, klassische Songstrukturen werden durchbrochen von wummernden Drones.
