Jodi & Macca & Hosta - Nothing To Prove [Technimatic Bassdrive Show]

With Autumn in full swing, the leaves fallen and the nights drawing in, we thought it was time to bring a few rays of sunshine into your life, this time in the form of the brand new Sun And Bass Compilation. 

The package includes 12 brand new exclusive tracks from some of our favourite artists and also a super limited 12” that perfectly captures the Sun And Bass vibe.

One side showcases the sublime Calibre remix of Arp XP’s ‘Winter in Sardinia’ track from the 2011 compilation – the remix perfectly capturing that musical essence the festival is known for, with the original coming from not only a Sardinian artist, but also one of Sun And Bass’s longest standing residents.

The flip exhibits as many ties – a Paradox remix of ‘How You Move Me’ from Lynx, Hellrazor & Kemo. This tune became one of the anthems of the festival with Kemo’s lyrics taking you deep into the Sardinian countryside. Ever-present Sun And Bass guest Paradox puts his own twist on the track, taking you even deeper in, a pure, proper slab of real drum and bass.

The package is completed with a digital bundle from many of Sun And Bass’s most important stalwarts, including tracks from dBridge, Ulterior Motive, Seba, ArpXP, Alite and MC Fava, Chris SU and Nymfo, Fracture and Mark System, Code 3, Tokyo Prose and FD and Collette. 

Each of these artists brings forth a piece of music that encapsulates what Sun And Bass means to them, the feelings it gives them and the place that it takes them to. 

The digital bundle will be released in the next few weeks so keep your eyes peeled for that – and make sure you’re on your toes if you want to grab one of the super limited 12”s that’s sure to become a treasured collectors item.

The first Metalheadz release of 2017 comes courtesy of Phil Tangent and Pennygiles, and we're very excited to welcome them into the Metalheadz camp.

The two tracks are perfect for Headz Platinum as they fuse the rough with the smooth, something the sister label has become known for in the course of its history. We have deep basslines playing set against subtle rave stabs and break edits on the solo effort from Phil Tangent, whilst on the collab from Phil Tangent & Pennygiles things go deeper with the atmospheres and effects.

Atmomatix open their account for 2018 with a stunning various artists EP. Featuring original music from HumaNature and Ash:Ram, alongside a fresh remix from Radicall, this is liquid DNB at its best.

‘Upside Down’ is the second track from HumaNature on the EP and our favourite of the two, a late addition to the project it closes out the release in silky smooth fashion. Jazz influences run riot, flickering keys revolve around sliding guitar notes and pulsating horn movements create a rich introspective feel.
