As the clock ticks into the spring of 2023, we’ve been fully immersed to present you with our next release by the mysterious collective YHVHSQUAD.

With releases on mystical labels such as Zodiac Music, Syhda Music or Kurnugû, this magnificent group hails from Japan and brings us some of the most exquisite, experimental and interesting productions, merging dark textures and atmospheres with organic, tribal, mechanical, hypnotic and industrial drum patterns. To spice it up, they add layers of noise and distortion that result in a very unique style and outcome amongst the Drum and Bass / Halftime scene.

In their own words, their attitude and devotion to the programming is what brings their aesthetic to life and when asked on how they like to describe their music, "Stoic" and "Taciturn" put meaning to their work. They catched our attention immediately, since we’ve discovered their music, and after a well-deserved spotlight on our previous release with "Shippu", we’re delighted to unveil this EP from them on the label!

YHVHSQUAD present us with a very solid 4 track EP, in their own style named "Ki-Sei", also the name for one of the tracks included. Hailing from the Far East, we tried to use the little to none English references but we found out that Ki-Sei means "Parasite", perhaps a subliminal hint to understand the concept of this EP and of their music...here's our invitation for you to discover it!
