When record store owner Jeff Bubeck buys an old record collection out of an abandoned storage unit, he has no idea what he’s stumbled across. Jeff learns the collection once belonged to the late great J Dilla, one of the greatest hip hop producers of all time. Along with the thousands of LP’s from Dilla’s personal collection, there is something else that is uncovered, something huge. . .

"She Sexy" was originally recorded at Channel One as a special for UK producer Rusty. It was released in 1985 on the Dancefloor label, on a split showcase LP called Michael Palmer Meets Kelly Ranks At Channel One. The next cut for Freddy McKay's Another Weekend and Johnny Osbourne's Kiss Somebody, this tune is definitely one of the heaviest to be recorded on this monstrous, sound system riddim. Palmer repetitively describes Rusty's girl as being 'sexy like a bottle of pepsi', transforming this weighty roots riddim into an early dancehall bombshell.

And here's the good part - The version is a previously unreleased dub version, mixed by the Scientist in an ultra hard Rub A Dub style!

Both sides are a must for any serious selectors out there looking for that super heavy bass weight in a cool & deadly fashion.

Paying tribute to the many coin operated video games played in my youth, "Insert Coin" is an ode to my favorite levels of my favourite games. From the "why aren't you at school" feeling of old arcades to the "my thumbs ache" nature of Playstation, there's nothing better than getting lost in your favorite video game.

The Message
"Tinted window memories of cotton colored melodies. The sugar rush, the smell of trees, just you and me. The lights all shine so bright…" - A mysterious tale of one night in the magical city of Amsterdam. 

Night Bus
My soundtrack to life in London. When the last tube has gone there's only one way to get home - on the Night bus. So many interesting characters and so many stories to be told.

Life
Another tune inspired by life in London. Such a beautiful and ugly city at the same time where anything can happen at any time. There are thousands of people all there to chase their dreams, make a better life for themselves and sometimes just survive. "It's the gravity of the situation, it's pulling you in… It's got you stuck in its sites and you can't get out…"

Written when I first moved to London, living in a noisy flat next to the train and tube lines in a row of houses that all looked the same. Although there was so much London had to offer I missed the simple things, like the sound of the Tui that used to sing outside my bedroom window back in NZ. But all that didn't matter.. "coz' I've got you by my side…".

Made in Taiwan and brought to Vienna, Austria (her parents’ origin) the culture clash incepted an affinity for a wide range of music. Growing up listening to classical music and African jazz, Billie Holiday‘s sadness and beloved fusion jazz gave birth to her musical approach, while abstract hip hop damaged the rest. Her sound varies from jazzy improvisation to Nu Soul, creating her own unique style through her code-lacking manners. She has spent a lot of time traveling Asia, the States and Southern Africa. While working on her Master thesis in Biotechnology she met the producer Mez.

Mez is currently studying piano at the Vienna Jazz Conservatory and is also collaborating with artists such as Raashan Ahmad. The quality obsessed artist of Jewish descent surprises with distinguished harmonies, organic vibrant beats and innovative sound sources.

Soulful things lay ahead after their first collaboration "Obtaining". Listen for yourself. Together they have been working on "Mood Swings“ as well as other material. This project will reflect on Soia's own mood swings, from melancholic soul, stream of consciousness turned song, to feel good tunes - always going beyond the surface.

In search of a band that combines rough
drumstep-rhythms with atmospheric catchy tones
from all around the world you will sooner or later
encounter Watcha Clan. After their well received
and highly complimented studio record "radio
Babel" (Piranha 2011), the band's drive can't be
restrained: In cooperation with Berlin- based
music label and publishing Piranha, there will
be released 3 digital remix eps inspired and
developed with their fans and befriended
Djs around the globe. Two of the 3 remix ep series
have already been released: "We Are One Remixes
EP" (Piranha Musik autumn 2012) and
"Hasnaduro- Im Nin'Alu" (Piranha Musik spring
2013). Both compilations include original songs
from the band and demonstrate the enormous variety
of the Global Bass scene. For ten years now, the
band that originally comes from Marseille in
France, excites their audience with fresh sounds
and memorable beats and hooks. With "Ziggurat FM",
the band takes a step further.

This new Remix Ep contains 7 exclusive tracks
from which each one stands for itself. From light
Argentine tunes like "Tangos Del Cachito" to an
almost hardcore dubstep anthem "Fever Is Rising"-
"Ziggurat FM" surprises with honest musical sense
that puts the music itself into prominence. All
above mentioned peaks eventually to the
melancholic piece "Il Était Une Fois Dans L'est"
remixed by Transglobal Underground. This
electronic world music combo succeeded again in
developing their own sound. A lot more musical
sense with a kind of emotional breeze to it.

But for those that expect this global fusion group
around lead vocalist Sister K to be a party band
only, are mistaken. They're one of the few that
manage successfully to create music that invites
us to dance on one hand but also to inspire us
with deep lyrics about topics the band genuinely
cares about. All of that without falling into the
world-changer trap.
Even more, the band stands for the fruitful
exchange of cultures and nations, and this can be
seen in their whole artistic process.
