Sun Cops is a creation of Omar Hakeem and Amir Muzhaffar. 

A band from Shah Alam / Kuala Lumpur(Bukit Jelutong to be exact haha) that plays a strange blend of maybe synth pop and indie rock?

Started making music together back in 2016 as the band “Small-Time Jukebox” with 2 other friends Fahmi Amiry (lead guitar) and Faliq Ekhmal (bass) .Their music was mostly alternative rock. Group of school friends, fooled around and came out with few tracks but never had a proper release. They had a slight taste of how the Malaysian indie music scene was from the year 2016 to 2018.

By the year 2018-2019 , Omar Hakeem and Amir Muzhaffar started just experimenting on different sounds, re-working on their old drafts and also new stuffs. After few months of doing so, they decided to go with this persona/act, that is now called Sun Cops.
