Harlem-based collective Freelance bring their hybridized, free-form musical aesthetic to their highly-anticipated album, ‘Yes Today’ due out May 11th, 2018 via Revive Music. ‘Yes Today’ is a collection of songs that speak to the evolution of Freelance and their myriad influences, from Earth Wind and Fire to the Robert Glasper Experiment. The genre-defying collective lends their progressive sound to the tasks of speaking truth to power, pushing the envelope with sonically forward production and capturing the energy of their electric live shows on record.
