Amalgamating influences from religious Brasilian folk music, balearic, cosmic / downtempo and heavy percussive styles, Elevator Edit #7 encapsulates the ethos of London's Elevator East clubnight in just under seven minutes of no-holds-barred, heads-down eclectic chug. The project began in February 2018, having recently celebrated its second birthday, and has gained a reputation for inviting a heady mix of young new talent and underground legends to unique spaces in East London, as well as taking the Elevator crew to gigs across France, Italy and the Netherlands. 
Sitting deep in the Amazon jungle, Elevator Edit #7 is a capoeira invocation-turned-cosmic chugger from Elevator East man Mikey Sibson, encapsulating the ethos of the clubnight, Available for download on Bandcamp.

We’re over the moon to welcome Andy Bell to the ITI mix series alumni! The Ride lynchpin and former Oasis bass man has provided a two hour explorative mission through the wilder, more psychedelic niches of his record collection. 

Andy released the divine Dissident album under his GLOK alias last year, which has been on repeat on the ITI stereo ever since! An all-star remix package is just about to drop too, on ITI’s sister from another mister label, @Byteslabel. Details coming very soon!

Ethimm scratches on pop does a pirouette and then takes another direction. Both on stage and in his productions, the enigmatic producer from Zurich shows his unique style. After three releases on the cult label Light of Other Days, his new record for Subject to Restrictions is more danceable than ever. Previously approved by a multitude of DJs from London to Tokyo, 'Don't Go Away' delivers steady hands in the air peak time moments reminiscent of 90ies rave dancefloor dramas. On 'Lies (feat. T.A.V.)' the pitched voice perfectly intertwines with the throbbing disco beat and the sparse melodies, all to climax in sweeping arpeggio ecstasy. The slow groove of 'Island Jam' is peppered with a penetrating bassline and playful sound snippets. An EP for DJs and home listeners alike.

If there's anything to make this joyless summer brighter then surely it's a new Afterlife release. One man Balearic machine Steve Miller does it again with the Summer Of Love EP; four cuts steeped in accomplished musicianship ranging from jazzy soulful touches to moodier, bluesey affairs. Here we feature 'Fou', a smoky, skankin' little number with playful congas to offset it's edgier synths.  Sunnier climes might be out of reach for many of us this year, but all you really have to do is let Afterlife take you there.

There is no better way to end 2020! For this 7th show, Pacific Gigi (@pacificgigi) recorded a mix for your ears broadcasted on Internet Public Radio (@internetpublicradio) based in Guadalajara.

Pacific Gigi, commonly known as Louie G or G Louie, was born and raised in Hermosillo, Sonora. He is the Co-Founder of French Toast (@frenchtoast), a collective based out of Hermosillo and Phoenix, Arizona. The collective has built a reputation throughout the years for their underground parties and unique sets. Pacific Gigi also is Co-Founder of Out of Step (@weareoutofstep), a sub label mixtape series dedicated to explore new sounds.
