Woodsworthy is a Producer and DJ from the woods of Nova Scotia. Now residing in beautiful BC. Always Bass heavy, always weird, sometimes deep and dark, but sometimes fun. One of Woodsworthy's goals is to keep you on your toes. You might expect anything from Techno, Drum n Bass, Half-time, Footwork, Dubstep, or Electro Swing.

Cynthia has been involved with the Electronic & Urban Music scene in Canada & around the world, as a promoter & deejay for 24 years!

Her love of music, people and performing is absolute. 
She always delivers, a crowd favorite and plays so many different genres, that music lovers of all different scenes will find something they love.

As she likes to say, " I play music that doesn't suck" why label myself with one spefic genre, I love so many different styles and artists ,why not play them all.

Anthemic electro with raging guitar hooks, heavy grooves, eclectic polyrhythms, and catchy gang vocals make SOS a standout in the live electronica genre.  Their live show is a frenzy of sweat-drenched electronic madness coupled with a synched video and light show, costumed theatrics, and on the fly sampling of the audience -bringing crowd participation to a whole new level.  

Scientists of Sound are producers Colin Crowell (keyboards, bass, trumpet) and Craig Mercer (guitar, keys, drums, vocals).   They have become a club favorite across Canada – performing regular club and festival dates and building a loyal following across the country and beyond.  They have shared the stage with notable electronic artists MSTRKRFT, Boys Noize, DJ Falcon, Kid Koala, Thunderheist, the New Deal and more, and are quickly becoming one of Canada’s preeminent live electronica acts.

Scientists of Sound’s highly anticipated debut album ELECTRIC SCISSORS hits I-tunes on June 18th.  Recorded in basement studios, on planes and trains, and in hotel rooms while touring over the past year, the album captures all of the energy of the duo’s acclaimed live show.  

For Mercer and Crowell, Electric Scissors represents a natural progression of the music they made in their former bands—The Jimmy Swift Band and Ruby Jean and the Thoughtful Bees—both of which achieved large international followings.  With its throbbing beats, driving electric guitar, and Mercer’s distinctive vocals, Electric Scissors makes a strong statement to the growing electronic music scene on Canada’s East Coast.
