The LA based Sunday Sessions crew returns with a stellar second VA vinyl installment featuring 4 internationally acclaimed artists who have proved their worth time and time again on the dancefloor. This follow up release highlights Sunday Sessions signature party sound that is often rich in late 90’s-early 00’s tech house, deep house, and techno. It is here, at the thumping basslines and quantified  909 beats that we find the inspiration for the next curation from this collective .

A1 -  YATUT – OH-OHHH – Starting things off is Kaliningrad born, LA based artist Yatut, also know as Boora. Primarily known for his work in deep house and electronica, here Yatut showcases his range and inspiration for early 90’s house and techno. This track is the perfect groove to open up a party, or to serenade a sunrise or sunset. With an emphasis on a thick and thumping funky bassline, the groove lends its self to thoughtful and emotional pads and is sprinkled with soulful samples that help prime the mind and soul for a deeper kind of dancing experience. This is a DJ friendly track waiting to be thrown in the mix.

A2 – MONOCLICK – Látlak – On deck for the A side is Hungarian born, San Jose based producer and DJ Monoclick who delivers a more upbeat motif to follow up Yatut on A1. Again 90s driven breaks and house beats accompany a funky analog bass line with traces of 303 acid and a beautiful assortment of pads open up nicely as the track unfolds ready to take listeners and dancers on a journey through quality house sounds.  Látlak” is a Hungarian sentiment that means  “I see you”, and well on the dancefloor we can hear you too.

B1 – Jay Tripwire – 1997 WANTS ITS BASSLINE BACK – Flipping the record to the B-side we find 2 cuts that take us deeper into the night. The man, the myth, the legend who needs no introduction but we have to introduce him anyways, Jay Tripwire. Tripwire delivers our favorite side of his many signature sounds, in this case being his stripped down 90’s bangers. This track is a serious heater featuring a nice thumping mid range bassline carries the groove with attitude and is complete with trippy, soulful modulation sequences that bring about the right amount of imagination, feeling, and sound to keep your feet on the ground and your head in the clouds. This track is versatile, and timeless, and can be played in almost any situation people need to listen to, or dance.

B2 – VOLUME CHANNEL – MOVE –  The man of many talents, Dylan Payne, hailing from San Diego serves up a nasty late night stomper for the heads. Fully functional and dark, this groove definitely sets the right kind of tone in darkly lit warehouses. Acid textures, special syncopated basslines, a sinister vocal sample and a meandering synth rift really offer up emotive feelings of movement and meditation. Perfect for those 3 AM moments.

Founder of 'Khloo' & Resident of Leicester's 'The Garden Getaway' Aaron Hall's love for the sound  of House spans from the birth of House in 80s Chicago to it's domain in both the underground and mainstream scenes. 

Since taking up DJing in 2010 he has organised successful events for the AfterHours brand around the Midlands including the 2014 Ministry of Sound Annual tour and music festivals in his hometown of Hinckley, Leics. This path he took has seen him booked for the likes Ministry of Sound, Passion, Trancecoda, Xstatic, various 90s reunion raves, and also stints in Ibiza for San Antonio poolside/boat parties. These bookings have seen him grace the decks alongside heavyweight legends such as CJ Mackintosh, Victor Simonelli, Allister Whitehead, DJ SS and many more breakthrough DJs. The most humbling moment in his journey was a set at Ministry of Sound London on the same bill as his hero and the late Godfather of House; Frankie Knuckles, alongside David Morales and Ministry's founder Justin Berkmann for Def Mix's 20th Anniversary event. 

As a DJ his style predominately focuses on Deep and soulful House, Tech and Disco both new and old. 2016 saw the birth of his second night which has took influence from the famous hedonisitic and bonkers Elrow events - 'KHLOO', with it's launch night being highly successful that has carried on it's ever growing reputation as the only dedicated underground night in Hinckley, showcasing the local DJ scene and bringing a much needed dance music night to the town which the local heads have been craving for. Hinckley's newest and hottest space 'Eivissa' is where Khloo currently hosts events which have seen some of the hottest nights in town and the ever growing talent of Hinckley & Leicester grace the decks.

In recent years he has dabbled in the production side of music, seeing this as an another path to pursue his love for the scene, and to exploit his trademark sound of Deep, Tech and Underground House.
