With one foot firmly in the DJ booth after cutting her teeth spinning vinyl in sweaty back rooms, and the other in her fast developing producer and songwriter career, Just Her has already carved out an impressive back catalogue on world class labels including Anjunadeep, Crosstown Rebels, Global Underground and Armada, achieving a wealth of Beatport chart positions, an Essential New Tune on Radio 1 and high profile press features in the likes of DJ Mag & Mixmag. Also establishing herself as an accomplished remixer, Just Her has deconstructed tracks from key players such as Armin Van Buuren and Lane 8, crafting them skillfully into her signature deep emotive cuts. A self-confessed multi-tasker, Just Her has not only found the time and skills to study for a Masters Degree in Music, but also to establish her own brand ‘Constant Circles’ - a unique concept in which music & contemporary visual art are combined, with successful label parties across the UK & Europe and art exhibitions in Brighton and London. Alongside the label she also hosts two successful radio shows, self-syndicated to a number of platforms worldwide, including the highly regarded stations Frisky & Proton, as well as heading up a successful music & art blog that is rapidly gaining an underground following. With kindness and compassion at the forefront, Just Her is on a mission to make the industry humble again and the world a happier and more peaceful place via those moments of euphoria on the dance floor, through killer hooks, emotive melodies and strong lyrical messages.

'Scuse Me Miss (Aroop Roy Edit)

Dutch producer / percussionist extraordinaire – Feiertag, releases his second EP – The Rituals on the 20th of May on Boogie Angst.

It’s a fine collection of electronica with flashes of house, nu disco, soul and pop in a thoroughly pleasing aural concoction. With guest vocals from the supremely talented Tessa Rose Jackson and Colin Lee over Feiertag’s crisp productions, it’s a polished, melodic body of work continuing to build on his signature sound he started to establish with ‘High Expectations’.

Another great record coming out of the Boogie Angst camp that’s nicely chilled but no less danceable. Exactly what you’d expect when Kraak & Smaak are covering A&R duties.

Opener Sunday Mornings is a relaxed track at ease with the world. Ethereal side chained synths and soulful vocal lines play over a steady analogue groove - it’s the musical equivalent of a weekend stroll through a field in summer. Beautiful.

Tessa Rose Jackson provides beautifully melodic vocals on The Parachute – an indie electronica tune with pop and soul leanings. Laden with glistening synths and almost sound design like guitar lines. It’s a gorgeous piece that will leave listeners uplifted

Featuring the soulful vocal talents of Colin Lee, Down To You is a tasteful track combining house and electronica with a less-is-more attitude. Carefully accented with echoed percussive fills - it’s a laid back affair with reverb drenched synth pads subtly evolving around the drum peaks and troughs.

Body & Soul closes the collection flitting between broken beats and nu disco showcasing the versatility of Feiertag’s drum chops as well as his production skills. It’s a head nodding tune that builds up to an ending of hypnotic layers of tuned percussion lines that leave you wanting more.

His passion for the finer elements of electronic dance music has seen him win over hearts and minds in every circle - from his unconstrained DJ performances, eclectic remixes, productions and recently his exquisitely curated label Proper Taste - a vinyl only outfit co-founded to export a leveled blend of rhythm and soul. A tribute to the founder’s Caribbean roots and a celebration of the here and now. 

This young adopted American hailing from Caracas with some fifteen plus years into it still lives and breathes music as an art form, powered by irrepressible artistry, matched only by a desire to be challenged by everything he does.
