In 2012, ten years after its inception, Stand High Patrol released their first album « Midnight Walkers ». Following the success of their first LP, plus several EPs and singles released on Stand High Records, Pupajim, Rootystep and Mac Gyver now return with a second self-produced album.

With it’s jazzy drums, deep roots bass and foggy piano melody « Sleep on it » introduces this new LP reminding the open approach of Stand High Patrol, their penchants for experimentation and their habit of playing with eras. 

Stand High’s music has always been closely linked with Kazy Usclef’s graphic work, and he has collaborated with Charlie Mars to produce a splendid accompanying video. The tune is now available for legal download with the visuals on youtube. Are you ready for a new dubadub experience?

Supported by the rich range of Pupajim’s vocals, the sounds travel incessantly between eras. The dubadub experience takes on new dimensions; jazzy rhythms and melodies stand alongside digital reggae, hip-hop beats, bass music and progressive dubs.

SDV will be heard, since their inception in 2010 the group has performed around 275 dates a year. The trio of road warriors have two full length albums under their belt and a new one in the works for 2018. In 2014 one of the most progressive promoters in the world took notice and added SDV to the major festival ‘California Roots: Carolina Sessions’ sharing the bill with the Rebelution, Matisyahu, Collie Buddz, Giant Panda Guerrilla Dub Squad, Katchafire and more in Wilmington, NC. This festival along with a 12 show, headlining tour in the US Virgin Islands was the icing on the cake in 2014.
