Recent mix of Brasilian stuff I did for my amigo Tee Cardaci for his Above The Horizon radio show.

Here is the original post below about the mix which is made up entirely of stuff sent to me while in isolation and put together by friends.

'At 4pm today UK time I am teaming up with Brazilian vinyl gold digger @teecardaci for his Above The Horizon show over on @universalrhythms.music 🎶 

When Tee asked me to do the mix I decided to do it all from music that my amigos sent me to listen to while I was in isolation in São Paulo.

I was bowled over by the kindness & generosity of people. But this is kinda of normal in Brasil tbh. It’s one of the things I cherish about the place. & it certainly helped me through my period locked up inside.

The Dukes have steadily been carving out a very well earned reputation as seriously talented producers over the last few years. It's no surprise really as they comprise Italian producers Walterino and Keller, two producers whose history spans all the way back to the 90's. Between them their pedigree is pretty incredible there have been chart hits with Moody's Dove and Wamdue Project's King of My Castle, a near endless list of original releases and a host of huge name remixes including Masters At Work, Ultra Nate’, Michael Watford, Moby, Donna Summer, Cerrone, Peter Gabriel and Frankie Knuckles. They have already had careers that most producers can only dream off.

On the back of their classy remix of Jestofunk, which has been doing some serious damage over the last couple of months, they have just released a brilliant single 'Always Better' with Double Dee on Midnight Riot which has been tearing up the Traxsource charts. 

I spoke to them in depth about their careers, the scene in Italy and they also put together this brilliant mix for us showcasing a whole load of their recent material. Check out the full interview over on LV online via:

Australia's Ken@Work (@kenneth-walker-33) is a DJ / producer who is very aptly named, he is one seriously prolific artist with a warm and inviting sound which always hits the right spots. Between his work for the legendary DMC and his own releases he's consistently hitting the upper reaches of the download charts. He's also an interesting character with a long history as well, check out his recent interview with Lenny Fontana on his True House Stories series to get a bit more flavour of what Ken@Work is all about.

Ken is also behind the Work It Radio show which is syndicated across the globe. This week the show hits the 100th episode mark and to celebrate Ken has pulled together a selection of tracks from some of the scene's biggest hitters which are so fresh that they don't actually have artwork yet. In the mix you can expect tunes from Dr Packer, Mark Brickman, Igor Gonya, Moodena, Soul Central, Chocolate Dice, Walterino, Mannix & Yam Who.

With a brand new EP out via Freerange Records Chile's @Massiande is making some serious moves right now. A producer who has consistently delivered excellent music via the likes of Ibadan, Midnight Riot, No Fuss, Toolroom and MOS this is perhaps his most complete release to date.
