Armst is a producer / DJ based in Rennes (France) and has been making music for more than fifteen years under different formations such as Lloydjnk or his great experience of the live duo Darlin 'Nikki (Fake Records)

This new project opens a window on his lifelong inspirations, namely House Music.

Indeed, the sound of Armst navigates between Deep House and House Progressive, two styles that have always defined him,
like a mix which would combine the haunting harmony of the first with the repetition of the rhythms of the second.
Trying to produce and develop a unique style of his own, the Frenchman has created a modern version of House, which merges deep atmospheres, groovy rhythms and emotional voices.
Always dancefloor, always lively, Armst's sound is powerful, haunting and always harmonious.

Besides, a typical Armst track is a mix of funky groove, chord play and strong and positive vibrations.

Bio:
Parker will never forget the day a friend of his handed him a CD at the age of 14. It would change his life forever. That CD was the Politics of Dancing by Paul van Dyk, released in 2001. In his opinion, it is the best Trance music compilation mix to date. From then on, his journey began in the world of electronic music. He dove in head first obsessed with the euphoria, peaks, and builds that define Trance Music. Though too many to name, some DJs that stood out to him in the Trance scene were Paul van Dyk, Chicane, Gabriel & Dresden, Gareth Emery, The Thrillseekers, Daniel Kandi, Solid Sessions, Armin van Buuren, Tiesto, Andy Moor, and Cosmic Gate.
 
In 2009, he moved to France and soon was introduced to the world of House Music, specifically Deep House. He also met some French DJs who taught him how to mix. He loved discovering a whole new style of electronic music and a new set of extremely talented DJs such as Addex, D.M.P., Seva K, Delano Smith, Paronator, Sebastian Davidson, Vas Floyd, and Babak Shayan. He found this genre to be the perfect blend of Soul, Disco, Funk, and Jazz. The French people were extremely kind and mentored him in how to properly beatmatch and craft sets both on CDJs and vinyl. He mixed live at a few local bars and was instantly hooked.

Upon his return to the states, he discovered the roots of House Music in his hometown of Chicago frequenting legendary clubs such as the late Vision, Spybar, Soundbar, and Smartbar. He then discovered another DJ that would again change his life, the mighty Guy J. Guy seemed to incorporate elements of many different genres of electronic music and exposed Parker to the world of Progressive House music. Guy’s label Lost & Found is a true inspiration and showcases a lot of upcoming and impressive DJs. It was as if Parker had discovered yet again a completely new genre within electronic music. He then dug in and discovered a multitude of incredibly talented DJs spanning the globe such as Cristoph, Jeremy Olander, Martin Roth, Alex O'Rion, Guy Gerber, 16 Bit Lolitas, Guy Mantzur, Henry Saiz, Stereo Underground, Budakid, Khen, Jody Wisternoff, Dosem, Brian Cid, Berni Turletti, Mathias Chilano, Hernan Cattaneo, Juan Deminicis, John Digweed, Sasha, Cid Inc., Dmitry Molosh, GMJ & Matter, K Loveski, Gui Milani and Luciano Scheffer among many others. Having lived in South America for two years, he is so happy and impressed to see the amazing talented DJs coming out of Brazil, Argentina, Colombia, and many other countries.

Bassically return with their first bonafide OG material since dropping their deeply personal and spectrum spanning 'Audio Diaries’ LP. 
The title track of the ‘Honey Trap’ EP is a wonderfully ponderous slice of Deep House that’s full of textural goodness; from which 'Baby Steps' gleans the same wistful air, but instead chooses to take the form of a mesmeric, rock-steady chugger. 
'Jaguar Paw' then takes us deep underground to a sweaty, strobe-lit basement floor... before pitching things right down and side-swiping us with a gnarled Swamp Techno workout, that wouldn't sound out of place during one of Weatherall and Pearson's legendary B2B marathons… 
And topping off this fine four tracker is the swing-loaded and stab-driven groove of 'Catchweight'... it's wraithlike vocal whispers combining with tempered guitar and an evolving, quaking synth lead - to great effect.
