Sophomore is the second album from Sunglasses Kid. Following his debut release, Graduation, Sunglasses Kid continues to explore the world of high school movies and 80s & 90s teen culture with Sophomore.

Sophomore features Ollie Wride, Primo The Alien, Jay Diggs, Miranda Carey, SJ Bravo, Megan McDuffee, IVERSEN, Tim Cappello, All The Damn Vampires, Phaserland, HOLOFLASH and Pulsar.Sax.

Set the night of Graduation, the students at "Hellview" High are about to wake up the quiet and affluent suburb of Grosse Pointe with a party to end all parties. Will you make it to the end of the album before the Principal knocks on your front door?

KEY TO MY HEART

"Major Heist" is the first single from my forthcoming album, "Internal Affairs" coming this summer. Originally previewed last year as a demo shared on my social media with the caption "P.O.V: It's 1986 and you're getting away clean from a major heist", the post went viral and I've kept you waiting ever since.

Internal Affairs picks up where Sunglasses Kid's 2022 Night Life EP left off, existing in the same cinematic universe and drawing you into an atmospheric world of 80s cop thrillers, neo noir crime and late-night erotica.

Featuring some of the most viral tracks from his popular "P.O.V: It’s the 80s" series on Instagram and TikTok, Internal Affairs is an hour of electronic instrumentals that blends elements of synthwave, film score, jazz, prog, fusion and ambient.

Featuring guest saxophonists Jonny Diggens, Max Cruise, Gary Honor and guitarists, Erik Halonen, R.J. Ronquillo and Laszlo Buring; Internal Affairs combines organic instruments with 80s and 90s synths, delivering an evocative cocktail of sounds that takes the listener into uncharted territory.
