Nordic folklore meets electronic beats in this mysterious track. Inspired by the traditional swedish singing techniques I learned growing up and the electronic beats Im surrounded by in Amsterdam.

Irish man of good vibes Keith Harris might not be as prolific as his prog beginnings but does hold a special place in our hearts, as does his last year's comeback release 'Bonzai/Make you mine'.
We now get to revisit those sunny soundscapes brought by the Cork native, as this package comes full to the brim with star-studded remixes from producers like Lumidelic and Alex H, who deliver outright sun-drenched masterpieces of Bonzai and Make you mine, respectively.
Rounding off this stellar EP are Canada's own Vincent Zauhar with his rollercoaster rendition and Swedish bad boy Vygg with a thumping prog trance stylish remake.
Bringing summer closer this year yet again is Keith Harris with a splendid remixes release.

Hey everyone,

I'm super excited to share my first official remix with you all! When https://soundcloud.com/sextonsounds hit me up to remix this track back in January, I immediately had a bunch of ideas and I knew I could throw my own spin on it. The original track is such a summer bop, I wanted to try and take it in a different direction while keeping the heart of the original intact. The outcome is a fun, synthwave inspired song that's perfect for those late night summer drives.

As some of you may know, https://soundcloud.com/usmidnightkids has been a huge inspiration for me from the get-go. I pulled a lot of ideas for this one from their music, and I couldn't be more happy with the outcome.

Deidian debuts on Summer Melodies Vol.4 with Radiant Shores, and after about several months we have brand new remixes from two label debutants Aaron Dmitriew and Design8, as well as one of our co-owners ZGOOT.

Starting off with one of the uprising artists/remixers, Canada-based Aaron Dmitriew already starts with an atmospheric, airy and upbeat approach, every elements - piano, guitar, widen pads - flows with the sunset vibes. Another uprising artist/remixer Denmark-based Design8, even with the same upbeat tempo, his approach is more shimmering, shiny and sun-drenched. He also enhances with an alternative melodies arrangement increase the varieties of the original, and expands the horizons of melodic goodness. Last but definitely not the least, we welcome return from ZGOOT with a more calming touch yet keeping the same melodic structure, his elegant flip would definitely provide you with chills and warmth at the same time.

Sequenced by Catching Flies into a flowing narrative arc, the remixes come from some of the producer, multi-instrumentalist and DJ's favorite artists, hand picked by him to transform 'Silver Linings' into an alternate version.

"I sat down and wrote a list of everyone I’d been listening to over the last few years but then everything had to fit together and develop in a way that felt like a journey rather than a bunch of remixes chucked together. I wanted it to have an arc, to start in the headphones and end in the club. It's so fun to hear tracks with my favourite artists' take on them.” - Catching Flies

Typically wide ranging on genre, the mood progresses from ambient soundscapes to hip hop beats, deep disco and house to breakbeats and emotive techno. Linking the album together includes a new Catching Flies track 'Daymarks', a "Part 2" version of 'Yu' which features a transatlantic rap collaboration between the UK's Jehst and US's Blu (of Blu and Exile fame) and his own "Ambient Reprise" of 'Satisfied'.

George King began Catching Flies in late 2012, drawing inspiration from a wide-ranging palette of music including jazz, soul, hip-hop, house and electronica. His debut album ‘Silver Linings’ was released in July 2019 and was hailed as "a soundtrack to summertime" by The 405 and awarded Album of the Month by Future Music who described it as "a brilliantly eclectic record…a moving journey that will last long in the memory". Clash Magazine praised the LP’s "killer beats" and "artfully orchestrated introspection" whilst London In Stereo praised its "exceptional production". Other coverage for the album included The Guardian, Complex, Dazed & Confused, and Nowness, with radio support across BBC Radio 1, 6 Music, Worldwide FM and more. Artist support for ‘Silver Linings’ has come from the likes of Bonobo, Jungle (BBC Radio One Residency), George Fitzgerald and Lane 8. His ever growing fanbase has seen him perform live and DJ sets across the UK, Europe, USA and Asia.
