Solar Powered Random Sound Generator are sound experimenters who keep moving along and across the confusing borders between House, Ethno, Jazz, Experimental and Indie. They indulge in the odd silliness, bizarreness or simply  a frivolous stylistic inconsistency that makes for a DJ'ed effect. Preposterous Deephouse appearing widely out of tune, precise in using numerous sample sounds, neatly arranged yet constantly surprising. To top it all off, in their third album they bank on non-electronic, purely guitar-driven soundscapes. After returning to an electronic and voice-dominated universe in their fourth album, they embrace pop in their fifth and wield the Ambient-Jazz mace in their sixth album. Their artistic concept involves continual stylistic changes, with their seventh album displaying yet another one. While still containing smooth jazz and electronic sounds and weird samples, on the whole the album leans way more to the rock side.
