The Obsculon EP is produced under the skillful charge of Spookyfish, an artist born in Cairo,  currently based in Toronto. In four original tracks and two remixes, one by DSRPTV and the 2nd by L_cio (DOC Records) and Bica (Teto Preto), Obsculon launches us in a three-dimensional sound crossing, mixing analog and digital, organic and synthetic in a dense, atmospheric and distinctive architecture of tibres. Spookyfish architects in this release a heterogeneous and profound musical narrative, filling the idea of ​​storytelling with life: jumping on the springboard of the imaginary simply by listening to a good story.

The underground is unexplored, odd and uncommon. Bellow, expectators look for a shared and sensible understanding on music. A counter-cultural alternative, a marginal lens for you to look through. Between the organic and the digital, granulation, glitches and unexpected beats are the complexity that drives our minds and bodies.

Spookyfish is the project of multi-instrumentalist Dani Ramez. With roots in ambient and downtempo, her productions showcase her skills in audio manipulation and musicality, blending obscure electronic sounds with the familiarity of acoustic instruments. She covers a range of genres but has recently focused on pushing boundaries within the realm of dance music.

London via Berlin connection brings us a versatile ‘Rad’ EP from one of the finest producers of dreamy, melodic house, Powel. ‘Rad’ EP, inspired by the BMX racer movie from the ‘80s, features four original cuts by Powel and four remixes by Haider Uppal and Timo Chinala, Mark Slee, Lauren Ritter, and Brigade. 

Our premiere for today, the remix of the title track by Haider Uppal and Timo Chinala, brings dubby, ‘b-side’ vibes to the release. Its rumbling kick drum layered with ethereal pads and dreamy vocal samples make a perfect contrast and create an ideal atmosphere for late nights on the dance floor. 

'Rad’ EP is coming out on September 10th via London-based imprint Everything Will Be OK.

A new premiere from Yarni's upcoming EP full of wonderful remixes. We are pleased to premier this subtle remix by Harmonious. A wonderful smooth melodic groove throughout this journey. Definitely something we would play for the upcoming sunsets over Lac Léman.

Yarni's `Entkommen' was a well-received debut album on this label last year, and now comes the first of two remixes EPs.

AWITW, ATDHE, Harmonious, Lauer, Tales of Voodoo and IPG V Yarni all serve up brilliant new versions ahead of part two in September. Night Noise regular AWITW opens things up and channels his Balearic senses on `Agitator' creating a CFCF like vibe. It's awash with rippling synths and beach-y grooves to carry you away.

Next up, IPG follow on from their recent disco hit with Hot Toddy, joining forces here with Yarni for a remix of `Granny's Garden' that is blissed out and dreamy thanks to the heavenly chords and gentle percussion. Then it's, ATDHE a newcomer from Yarni's hometown of Sheffield who breathes new life, broken beats & shimmering melodies into `Waterfall'. For his remix, Dutch producer `Harmonious' takes us on a beautifully harmonic journey with rubbery kicks powering along the thoughtful groove.

After that is another newcomer in the form of Tales Of Voodoo who take the delightful `Goin Live in Rabat', strip it back and turn it into a percussion heavy, Sergio Mendes styled slice of Latin tinged dance floor action. Last of all is an alternative disco remix of '28 Years of It' from Tuff City Kid member Lauer who uses all his know how to cook up a euphoric remix with big retro chords and effortlessly summery vibes.

All six of these remixes offering something different but equally essential for the dance floor and mark another superb release from Night Noise Music.

Press Info: "Sound Avenue celebrates their milestone 100th release with a new single from label boss Madloch and frequent studio partner Subnode. Founded in 2011 by the Belgian DJ and producer, Sound Avenue has carefully forged a path to multiple musical dimensions. As the label has grown so too has it's ethos, blurring the boundaries between genres, now sitting in the creative space between house and techno. With recent roster additions Charles Webster, Hermanez, Nordfold and Budakid and Stelios Vassiloudis, the label has reached a unique point in its sonic evolution, one which continues on their much anticipated 100th release. Being paired since the summer of 2018, the creative synergy between Madloch and Subnode has continued to grow. Now presenting their most anticipated single to date, the Belgian duo unveil 'Lion's Mane' alongside remixes from Navar and Bookwood. 

The second and final interpretation of 'Lion's Mane' is provided by Bookwood who makes his label debut here. The German artist has found a home on Magician On Duty, SOSO and URSL, where his unique take on deep house and electronica has flourished. It's this unique fusion which has made him of the deep house scenes most promising talents. Now following a well received remix for Rural Records, Bookwood steps up to Sound Avenue with a heartfelt take on 'Lion's Mane'. The vocal elements work wonders here, utilized perfectly for maximum emotional response, while a gentler, more indistinct backdrop adds mystery and intrigue across the six minute journey. A poignant piano theme sits wonderfully over a trail of soulful motifs, as a perfectly sculpted groove does just enough to command your attention but still resonates on warm and inviting frequency. A stunning interpretation from Bookwood, capping off what is a milestone release for Sound Avenue."
