Joven y salvaje, así nos gustaría definir a Benni Fehling, quién es el titiritero detrás del proyecto Benøir. Su sonido no tiene nada que ver con las ceremonias de cacao o retiros espirituales. Su música está diseñada para la dureza de la noche, una estructura áspera y versátil es la que habita este productor.  Benøir impone su verdad, sus melodías, como su vida, van rápido y se detienen solo brevemente para tomar aire y continuar. Die Arme hinter dem Kopf verschränkt, liegen wir mit geschlossenen Augen auf einer warmen, grünen Wiese. Wir lauschen den im Wind rauschenden Bäumen, die um uns herum stehen. Als wir unsere Augen öffnen, beobachten wir, wie sich die Blätter durch den Wind wellenförmig und wie in Trance hin und her bewegen. 

Plötzlich fängt es an; bunte Farbschweife fliegen durch die Luft. Unser Blick wird von Sekunde zu Sekunde verschwommener und jede Bewegung unseres Körpers zieht, wie in Zeitlupe, ein langes Echo hinter sich her. Die wogenden Blätter der Bäume versetzen uns mehr und mehr in einem Zustand, den wir nicht mehr beschreiben können.   Mal sind wir federleicht, mal schwer wie Blei. 

Alles was wir sehen, scheint surreal und doch fühlen wir uns vereint mit unserer Umgebung. Von nun an befinden wir uns in einer völlig anderen Welt. Dort angekommen treffen wir auf ihn, unseren heimlichen Begleiter leschueft <3

Spring is just around the corner and with the warm weather comes with warm vibes and we are lucky to have Alaix Pulse in charge for this session. Known for his top productions on renown labels such as our friends Magician on Duty, Wildfang, Dream Culture or even Tepeme Musica he also has a talent for putting together dope mixes and takes the listener on a lovely musical voyage.

Fascinated by African rhythms and natural sounds, but also influenced by the pop rock culture of the 90’s’ of his parents. Alaix began composing his first songs on a video game console at the age of 13. Experimentation has always been a key point in each of these musical productions, thereby exploring different genres over the years. Over time his signature sound further developed and he got recognised by great venues, such as LaCoste Castle, that gave him the opportunity to perform his music and spread the love even more.

New year - new set! :DDD
With this spontaneous musical journey I wish you all a loving and truthful year 2021. What exciting times...without words. In the last few months my personal musical output wasn't been really in focus as I prepared myself for a self-sufficient future. Actually, I've been waiting and preparing for this scenario for half my life. I’m very grateful and so it was a great pleasure to play a spontaneous New Year's Eve set on the beautiful Costa de la Luz - Andalusia with a small caravan-tribe after a long time of not playing live. I didn't expect it to unfold so phääät. It all felt into place so nicely... and so some happy, colorful off-grid-lovers came together and created a welcoming space. At 8pm I sat down to my promo emails, some collected songs from the past two months and went through a few unreleased Monada gems from our awesome artists and at 10pm I was ready for a completely improvised journey. I love mixing sets with tracks that are almost unknown to me, so I'm able to start completely untethered and free. Free mind - free heart!
Et voilà.. here is my deep trippy slowtech New Year’s Eve mix à la San Miguel. :))) Okay, before I write a novel here.... enjoy the set & much fun listening. I send a lot of love and clarity – On that note, let's welcome a human and natural 2021 full of love, acceptance and freedom of expression. <3
