American producer Will Canas is back on the sunny shores of sunsetmelodies and his progressive sound oozes a lust for Summer. Heading back to his trance roots, he’s created “Southbound”, a mesmerising and all-encapsulating tune that will have you gasping for the cooling breeze. Be guided through the tune by its compelling melody and basslines that enable you to get lost on a journey.

Canadian Andrew Lang has demonstrated his talents once again and his take on “Southbound” is one that is evocative and inspiriting. Driving percussion lines and massive leads are a signature and with a breakdown as sweet and warm as this you can’t go wrong.  The light vocal hues and piano melodies sweep through the track as beautifully as the sunset.

Keeping to the entrancing sound are The Antipodes – an up-and-coming Italian trance duo that know how to hypnotise. Pushing “Southbound” a little harder, the track facilitates an energy that makes you want to move and groove. With the fusion of lush atmospheres and a tempestuous bassline, you’re in for a treat.

Being known for writing some fabulous melodic progressive house, he once again proves that he is a producer that, if he wants, is on the scene to stay. This one, named as “Symphony Of Life” is a truly well written progressive act, include those energetic and evolving melodic hooks that so easily is to become a drug for you, making that repeat button go warm. It’s a truly captivating production that gives us a lot every time we listen to it.

Heard Right returns to Colorize to bring you 'Mornik / Glimmer', a fantastic new EP featuring a collaboration track with fellow Belarusian producer Upteka. 

After a fantastic debut label release in 'Don't Know / Episode' which was supported by the likes of Cosmic Gate and Jaytech, Heard Right returns to Colorize with some exquisite Progressive House. 

Opening track 'Mornik' is resplendent with an airy flute lead and lush vocal pads while 'Glimmer', the collaborative track with Upteka, is more gritty with its prominent bass synth and imploring vocalisations. The two tracks fit together perfectly and form a cohesive House project perfectly suited for early hours in a club setting.

Sunset Melodies is focused on Progressive House/Progressive Trance, identified by releases with richly melodic arrangements that provide an ample of aural indulgence. 

Above & Beyond, Paul van Dyk, Chicane, Cosmic Gate, EDX,  Jaytech, Ruben De Ronde, Roger Shah, Ost & Meyer, tyDi, Giuseppe Ottaviani, M.I.K.E., Matt Darey, Thomas Datt, Boom Jinx, DJ FEEL, Steve Anderson, Moonbeam, Hazem Beltagui, Sunny Lax, Tom Fall and Eximinds support the label, with many more. 

“We see Sunset Melodies mainly as a movement of passionate people…want to move people by bringing music that takes a listener into another world.” What’s more, the label serves as a platform for undiscovered talent that “…gives them an opportunity to be heard within a vast majority of networks, establish an identity with an outlet for their music.” Ultimately, “We want to bring as many people into the underground scene…and our main goal is to make people happy with the type of music we release.”

“The moniker originally started as a YouTube channel back in 2009,” said Wahed Achterberg, label manager. “This turned into regular uploads of mixes with the latest releases of Progressive House and Progressive Trance that have accumulated thousands of subscribers and millions of [video] views.” Guest mixers have included with participants like Nigel Good, Vitodito, Dan & Sam, Aerotek, Kobana, Shingo Nakamura, Shawn Mitiska, to name a few. The channel garnered the attention of labels and producers, earning a position as “…a substantial voice within the underground scene (Tiefhaus Records).” Schodt, of Silk Royal, even said, “Love those videos…sounds wonderful…have very nice taste in tracks.” The transition from a YouTube channel to becoming a label resulted with a relationship of Fuzzy Recordings. “I started promoting their releases (on mixes). After a period of chatting with label manager, Jerry Chiu, he invited me to be part of his label, as an A&R manager.” After a few months on the job, “Jerry asked me if I would be interested in bringing Sunset Melodies to the foreground, as a label and part of the Fuzzy Recordings collective,” says Wahed. “He [Jerry] served as a peer advisor on how to manage during the first few months.” Beckoning for its voice is heard; the thriving YouTube channel came into its own as a label.
