The hometown show... This meant more to me than folk will ever know. Coloursfest was one of the first raves I attended as a kid to getting to do my thing at it now mega childhood dream ticked off the DJ list. 

The troops packed that tent out and went absolutely tonto for 60 minutes, Worked my arse off and waited patiently all my life for this moment my mind is well and truly blown, TYSM for the support I live for this shit. 

I have honestly never experienced an atmosphere like this consistently through a set in one of these tents in my puff, Can't get over it the chanting had started before I had even hit the play button on my intro. Very special gig for me... Don't believe me listen for yourself ps FUCK THE TORIES

Powerhouse collaborations have been coming thick and fast of late, and this new one titled 'C'est La Vie' from Azteck and Le Shuuk is now the exception to the ongoing onslaught of top-tier dance music delivery from one of the scene's most electrifying labels, Smash The House.

In a seamless fusion of genres, 'C'est La Vie' is a potent blend of hard dance energy and rolling techno beats. The track is underpinned by a relentless underground bassline that demands attention and is almost certain to hoist the energy levels of any dancefloor into the air.

Coupling Azteck and Le Shuuk's production prowess is a captivating French female vocal that seemingly weaves through the beats, adding an international allure and depth to the hard-hitting dance anthem. With a subtle opening section that affords the vocal space to capture the atmosphere, the track launches into warp speed, unravelling gusty dynamism that is pure musical ecstasy. 

British/Dutch producer and DJ Azteck, who's flown through the ranks in recent years, has rapidly solidified his stature with an enumeration of enormous collaborations that include label bosses Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Hardwell, Don Diablo, Alex Hepburn, and Nicole Scherzinger. Whilst outside of the studio, Azteck continues to showcase his talent at some of the biggest festivals in the world, such as Tomorrowland, Untold, Sunburn Goa, Neversea, Don't Let Daddy Know Korea, and Ushuaïa in Ibiza. 

His counterpart on this release, Le Shuuk, is another established name within dance music circles. Over the last two decades, Le Shuuk's musical journey has taken him from his native Germany to performing worldwide, playing everywhere from Switzerland, the Netherlands, Croatia, Korea, China, India, and Taiwan, and even performing in the weightlessness of ZERO-G. Landing in the Top100DJ poll and playing events like Tomorrowland, WORLD CLUB DOME, ULTRA Europe, and Parookaville all continue to add to the allure that is Le Shuuk.
