‘In The Silence’ has made Ásgeir a fast growing sensation across Europe, and is released in the USA on 4th March via Columbia Records.

‘In The Silence’ is the English language version of Ásgeir’s original ‘Dyrd í dauðathogn’ debut which made him a folk hero back home in his native Iceland winning him 4 Icelandic Music Awards and a nomination for the Nordic Music Prize. It is now Iceland’s best selling debut album of all time by a domestic artist with 10% of the population owning the album.

久候多時，2manysound 第二發作品終於完整公開：旅居紐約的台灣爵士靈魂樂人、9m88 的首張七吋唱片單曲「九頭身日奈」，並於背面翻唱日本 city-pop 經典「Plastic Love」。
「九頭身日奈」用上爵士嘻哈大將 DJ MITSU THE BEATS 單曲「Playin’ again」的 instrumental 版，由 9m88 譜曲填詞演繹，為其個人的第一首話題單曲。背面挑戰日文唱功的「Plastic Love」，重新編曲成舞池化的 poppin’ 風味，並由台灣 DJ / 製作人陳潁操刀混音後製。封面設計為台灣設計師 Thoiid Chen 繪製，唱片本身使用以淺綠色原料壓製的綠膠唱片。 
本作於今日（11/13）在台灣與日本展開預購，預計於十二月底以及一月初在日本與台灣正式上架。

Y.I.M.と思い出野郎Aチーム『タイワンド』をリリースした台湾のレーベル、2manysoundからの第2弾作品は、台北で今最も注目されているという女性ソウル・シンガー、9m88。オリジナル曲「九頭身日奈」は中国語歌唱による絶品アーバン・ネオ・ソウル・チューンです！
90年代に台北で生まれ、現在はニューヨークでジャズを学んでいるという9m88（英名Joanne Baba）。今夏の台湾国内のツアーは全会場ソールドアウトするなど、若者を中心に着実に人気を集めており、台湾のポップ・ミュージック/アート・シーンの次代を担う才能として注目を集める、新鋭フィメール・アーティストです。
本作は、昨年YouTubeで公開されるやいなや50万回を超える再生回数を叩き出した彼女の代表曲「九頭身日奈」のアナログ化。DJ Mitsu the Beatsの"Playin' Again(Inst Ver.)"をサンプリングした、ジャジーかつポップなネオ・ソウル・チューンで、Erykah BaduやLauryn HillといったR&Bからの影響を感じさせる彼女の芳醇な歌声に、中国語の語感がキュートにハマった奇跡の一曲です。
B面には、竹内まりやによるシティポップの名曲“Plastic Love”のカバーを収録。ミックスは台湾のDJ/プロデューサー、Chen Yinn（陳潁）が担当。よりソフィスティケイトされたアダルトなブギー・チューンに仕上がっており、G.Rina、一十三十一など現行のジャパニーズ・ソウル/シティ・ポップ・シーンのディーバたちともリンクしそうな名カバーです！
