Jazz for Sleep

This abstract EP compiled of 5 tracks comes as no surprise for Nikakoi’s fans, as creator of “Stochastic Device” is back with another vision/soundtrack of film that is yet to be created. 
In his own words: These tracks are sketches for a film I keep imagining — maybe it’ll exist someday, maybe only in memory. They follow Suong, a Vietnamese girl, in fragments: a night train leaving Hà Nội, a quiet word with the conductor, golden light on the Đồng Nai River, even the glow of an old TV playing aerobics in a station café. The music holds these moments like drifting memories — part dream, part journey, part farewell. These are only key points; everyone who listens can imagine their own movie. 

Nikakoi’s EP features sTia’s recomposed version of the main theme titled: “Suong is Leaving”.

Heyward is from Act 2 Scene 3 from Porgy and Bess an English-language opera by the American composer George Gershwin, with a libretto written by author DuBose Heyward and lyricist Ira Gershwin. It was adapted from Dorothy Heyward and DuBose Heyward's play Porgy, itself an adaptation of DuBose Heyward's 1925 novel of the same name.

Solo piano interpretation performance by Christopher Simmons from the CD 'Trio Tribute Trilogy'.
