This uplifting, energetic EP is designed to spread inspiration and creativity, and to empower listeners to manifest their dreams. ‘Caterpillar’ is the first stage in a 3-part series. The band has been focusing on Biology and evolution as themes for inspiration during their writing process. “The metamorphosis becomes more evident as the other two stages are revealed. It's been a really fun process to work on. Especially because we are bridging the other stages (yet to be released) together.” Says Kevin Donohue. Chris Anderson’s (drummer) younger brother Spencer Anderson is also featured on the violin in the track. ‘Caterpillar’ is the 2nd single released by the band since their last EP with more music to be released in the coming months.

A brand new collaboration from SCI & SunSquabi!

About the “Top Down”:
"Top Down" came together over the course of nearly a year of remote sessions. Josh (Fairman) and I created the main riff in the basement of my old house, sort of sussed out a framework of the track, and then sent it to Kyle (Hollingsworth). He took it to another place by adding organ, Rhodes, and layers of synths. After adding his parts, we went back and forth with the arrangement, changing subtle things until it really worked as a song, and that's where Jason (Hann) came in and laid in the percussion tracks. Jason is a monster so, we created a little drum break to feature him there. After this, we recorded Chris (Anderson) on the drum kit and swapped and spliced all the midi drums which is really a signature part of our sound as Sunsquabi is the drum thing (using both real and digital drums). The final piece was Kang with a cool glass of whiskey and some sweet shreddy licks to round out the melodic sections of the song. All in all, collaborating so closely with a band that we all grew up listening to and watching in Boulder, Colorado, was an absolute dream come true and we are so proud of how it turned out.

A three-piece suit - SunSquabi has been catching the eyes and ears of music fans around the world with their ever-evolving sound in the studio and on the live stage. SunSquabi has gained national attention for their unique way of producing music. The band’s live show can be described as an ‘Electronic Hydro Funk Experience’ that is different every single time out. SunSquabi continues to break down and analyze the expectations of what a “Live-Electronic” band should be.

I have been making music with FL Studio for years now.  I have many other works not listed here, and I like to do all kinds of music: techno, rap beats, orchestral, etc.  I do not use pre-recorded loops or songs.  Hell, I don't even like using presets without altering them a bit for a more original sound.  Everything I put out is entirely my own work.  I have also written many poems/rhymes over the years but have only recently decided to start incorporating lyrics into my songs.  My newest track, "Follow Your Streams", is my first lyrical piece, but there will be more to come.  

My display name "Created A Madman" is an anagram of my first and last name.
