Sunstrings was formed in 2012 by singer-guitarist Takuya Matsuda and drummer Saya.
They're noted for their simple, direct melodies, and bold sound you wouldn't expect from a duo.

The band's name is a portmanteau of "sun" and "strings." Also, the Japanese pronunciation of the English word "sun" is the same as that of the Japanese number 3, so the name Sunstrings is also understood as meaning "3 strings."
The band chose this name in reference to Takuya's 3-string guitar and the simple melodies that form the basis of their songwriting.

The duo are influenced by 80s indie rock and 70s punk rock.
In August of 2015, Sunstrings celebrated their third year as a band by releasing their first album, Green. They released the follow-up album, Orange, in September of the same year.

Spending My Time - Keyakinan

This song is just my pissed off self needing to get out what is going on in the USA right now. I'm being cynical, serious, sarcastic and may be slightly comical. I think that's just how I get it out. Hope you find some truth and if it offends you, I'm down to listen as to why. 

Also, I find my voice is naturally kind of ironic sounding when I sing in low registers, I have come to embrace that and I have given myself and alter Ego called 'Pin-Pin Morgül' for such occasions.

"Not Now" is the second studio album by Canadian Alternative Rock band Not Now, which consists of vocalist/guitarist/keyboardist Ben Keirstead, vocalist/guitarist Andrew Erb, drummer/keyboardist Brady Jones and bassist Zach Woodill. The album was written and recorded over the span of 7 months (from June to December of 2016) at Ben's home study, Studio K. The album features 13 original songs, ranging in style from pop punk to pop rock. The record is available for purchase on the band's Bandcamp account.
