JJ Caballero is a Chicano soul-punk who pushes the limits of genre to bring his fans a unique blend of funk, punk, soul, and lo fi pop. His sonic pallet textured with various sonic artifacts blends with his psychedelic grooves. Having cut his teeth during the pop punk wave of the early 2000s, Caballero would grow to work with local legends At The Drive In, Sparta, and Sleepercar- all whom he looked up to while in adolescence. His work extends beyond stage to the studio where Caballero is a prolific producer and engineer.
