German brother and sister duo Hundreds released their second album 'Aftermath' back in May via Berlin imprint Sinnbus and the melancholia-drenched long player had listeners transfixed around the world.

On Eva and Philip Milner's sophomore album, delicate melodies are intertwined with heartfelt vocals and hauntingly delicate productions and the album will soon receive its first remix EP.

There's an edit from German electronic outfit The/Das and also from the Pampa and Kompakt stalwart Robag Wruhme and the latter has cast his spell over the album's title track.

During the past years, Illesnoise has made a name for herself in the Dutch scene as an unerring DJ with a distinctive feel for flow and melody. With ‘Nova’ she now celebrates her production debut. The result emphasises the maturity, which only a schooled DJ can bring to the table, as an enveloping bass-line glides through an arrangement of harmonic synth-bells and an emotive vocal loop. On his techno-leaning remix, Oliver Koletzki ups the tempo and focuses on peak-time atmospherics. 
	
After a teasing hiatus, we are glad to welcome back Juli Holz, who has exchanged the emotional cotton candy for an altogether darker dance-floor-aesthetic. ‘Drive’ captivates by way of deep sawtooth bass and, of course, Juli’s brilliantly distinct voice, which can be heard here in the most diverse facets. Kind of leftfield, but marvellously danceable. Lastly, Dan Caster delivers a driving remix of epic proportions. Girl Power!

The B-side of this humorously titled release is hands down one of my favourite tracks of all time, and definitely my favourite Levon Vincent creation. One of the few records that I can honestly say is well worth the high marketplace price, though I hope my copy gives me years of play! There's really no fitting description for this shifting chugger; it's a totally melodic and dubby slice of techno with a nice, subtle tinge of house-y-ness. It keeps going and going, with every element in its perfect place. Lots of reverb and warped sounds that build a series of layered loops from some ultimately quite simple components. For me that's the mark of perfection: a fugue-like cycle that plays on a perfect kick, bass drum, etc. And did I mention there are some VERY fat synth chords? Oh, and I just listened to it again and must add that there are some sweet pitched up lasers. I've always had a soft spot for the sound of lasers! Mmmmmm, Woman Is The Devil indeed.

For those who consider them regulars in the electronic music club scene in London or have lived here at any point in the last eight years, there is a remarkably high chance you've attended a night put on by, or in someway associated with, Casper Clark. In the last year alone he has managed to sort special eight hour back-to-backs from Morphosis and Ben UFO as well bringing a host of names such as Laurel Halo, Demdike Stare and Objekt to play at his night BleeD. His incredibly forward-thinking approach to music has led him to curate lineups for festivals such as Field Day, Beacons and Donau and he's become a go-to DJ for many other likeminded promoters and DJs. Earlier this year he added producer to his list of talents, doubling up BleeD as a label and releasing his debut Charlatan EP under Volte-Face, whilst also doing official remixes for Daniel Avery. Ahead of two big shows at Berghain and Fabric in the next month, we decided to catch up with Volte-Face for a little chat about London life and all things BleeD, as well getting him to mix our 123rd Truancy Volume. Describing the mix as a representation of what he likes to play in the clubs at the minute, the mix glides seamlessly through a barrage of techno tracks from Pysk, Bjarki and Abdulla Rashim to name a very few.

Mo's Ferry release #57 is a vinyl re-release of two true classics from the label catalogue. Dapayk & Padberg “Island” is a special result of a collaboration with the American singer and producer Caro. The original track came out in 2007 on their second album “Black Beauty”. But the choice for this record is the “Swimming Circles Remix” by the Parisian dj and producer duo Noze (of Circus Company and Get Physical fame). Originally released on the B side of “Black Beauty Rmxs Pt.2” the remix developed into a prominent long runner for the artists and the label. In 2005 “Emergency” by Dapayk & Midnight marked the birth of Mo's Ferry's first sublabel fenou. The 10inch record was released as a limited edition of 1.000 copies, each stamped by hand with a consecutive number. This first and only edition is out of stock for years now and if you're lucky you can buy a rare copy on Discogs. Reason enough to bring this track on a new Mo's Ferry vinyl release.
