The last release by Alex Niggemann on Poker Flat, 'Materium' was hammered by the likes of Sven Vath, Mano Le Tough and Tale Of Us since its release back in May, meaning that anticipation for his next EP couldn't be higher.

The house and techno maestro heads things up over at AEON and his next track 'Abaton' will drop via the imprint on October 20. The deep and atmospheric cut follows suit from his last EP as it combines sharp, intergalactic synth stabs with grand crescendos and pounding kick drums.

We are excited to welcome Martin Waslewski back on Hommage, this time with partner in crime Ole Biege. Both present a lush pair of tracks that will help you make a smooth transition into autumn and the darker days.

Starting off with the EPs title track “Fiddler”, a laid back & chilled tune. Built around a sleek groove and authentic analog drum programming, the tracks main focus lies on the echoed male vocals. The sounds and instruments both chose, make Fiddler a standout and track that will become an ear worm instantly. 

Moving onward with “Fleecy Shout”, which has a similar, slightly weirder vibe to it and features a very funk driven groove. It’s all about piano chords bouncing around and trippy male vocals providing the fun. The subby bassline provides the coolness underneath. 

Monkey Safari are closing off the record with their interpretation of Fiddler. They change up the groove and place witty sample layers here and there. To spice things up both also add a touch of acid.
