The Super Colour Future creature feature brings to you optimistic joy monsters of epic proportions to rid us of the grey and oppressive mean grey box times we find ourselves in to make way for the a new bright light to colour-in our lives like a child let loose on a wall with a box of felt tip pens.

Originally from Bristol but now residing somewhere in sunny Somerset, Shaun is a singer/songwriter who didn’t start playing guitar until his late 20’s.

With a varying range of musical influences from jazz and sixties psychedelia to drum and bass, via a big dollop of 90's guitar bands, it’s probably surprising that Shaun has mainly stuck to an acoustic sound. 

“I started writing poetry and silly stuff as a way of emptying my head when I was younger. This developed into songwriting as I picked up the guitar and eventually playing live. 

“I love big sounds and slightly chaotic music, but there’s something quite lovely about being able to pick up an acoustic guitar and playing something simple.”  

Despite being relatively quiet in recent years, Shaun has continued writing (when time allows). 

“When music is a hobby rather than a profession it can be difficult to fit it in around everyday life. 

“I’m looking forward to getting back out to a few open mic’s, meeting some amazing people and seeing what opportunities come my way. I just need to remember how some of the songs go!”
