It's a gift and a curse to have a view of something beautiful. I used to love looking out at the islands from my window and dream about how happy our future would be. I would dream about forever and how it wouldn't be long enough. I would see the ocean and waves so free and full of happy shit and it would remind me of a place I used to feel the same way. That place was with you. In your room, in your front yard, were ever you were was instantly Disney land with no lines and a bunch of free shit (Paradise). This song tells the story of a guy who believed that all dreams come true. Who smiled in every picture and believed that everything works out in the end... and the light would bring you love. I wrote this song while I still believed that. When I still believed we would always be together, and that whatever life I made I was going to make with you. You were my island off the coast... I still look out at those same islands and remember what I used to believe. The ocean full of happy shit I can't feel... and the waves full of freedom I don't have... I search for sumthing inside and I find an empty whole were I used to keep your laugh and all the things that kept me warm at night... I use dream of me and you... But it was still just a dream.

The song was produced by my friend Dave Cappa and the artwork was done by Kristofferson San Pablo.

I wrote this song eating Cheetos. Fuck eating healthy and I hope you all die slowly... Anyways, there's a video of me and Carnage making this song on YouTube... I don't think he liked the song... I still think he hates the song and me. In fact, sometimes I have nightmares of him laughing at me... So I sleep with the lights on. But he's still my big brother and I love him. Carnage taught me about gettin "hoe's" and "basin' up". This "Slap" is two people who met one random day and decided to be creative. It was effortlessly "AMAAZING" .There's not much more to say about it, and that's why it's great. It's a "Slap" and it "Slaps".

It's funny how many times the expression "I Keep It Real" or "Damn cuh, I'm real as fuck!" is used in rap, usually by a bunch of people who carry this preconceived idea of what being "Real" really is. Most of which are probably FAKER then that wack ass sham wow commercial from a few years ago… That shit don't really work. Being "Real", is being who you REALLY are, and not some generic drug dealing New York rapper with diamonds in both ears #245. Im not gonna lie I've never shot anybody or sliced a brick, I was into drama… I play mid-evil RPG's, I watch "Everybody Loves Raymond" and actually like it... Look up Bobby Caldwell that nigga got bars. I dont lie about who I am… and neither should anyone else. IDGAF who thinks otherwise, I Keep It Real.

This is one of my favorite songs for several reasons. I don't consider myself to be a "swag" rapper but this shit feels kinda swaggy. I definitely don't smoke weed but you can fasho smoke to this. It's ignorant, unique, and fun and was one of my favorite songs to make. Life is fun, don't take it too seriously, have fun. It will all be good in the end. It will all be good when we're gone. 

My boy Beni Haze produced it so its CLUBBIN!! (not 100% sure what that means yet, but Beni says it all the time and it sounds super cool.)

I took a chance one lonely night and made the most based mixed drink of my entire life and this is what it sounds like.

Someday well all be incased in silver and gold. :)

(Los Angeles, CA) – Internationally praised Malaysian-born songstress YUNA will release her new digital EP titled ‘Sixth Street,’ on May 7, 2013 via Verve Records/Indie-Pop Music.  ‘Sixth Street’ will be YUNA’s first release with Verve Records, and serves as the follow up to her debut self-titled album, ‘Yuna,’ that was released last year.
 

YUNA explains, “‘Sixth Street’ is probably a new chapter for me.  All of the songs were written in my apartment where I’m most comfortable, and at that point I understood who I was and knew what I was feeling about life.”
 

To celebrate the release of the EP, YUNA has teamed up with virtual venue platform Stageit, who will host the EP release show.  By choosing an online partner to live-stream the performance, it allows all of her fans, regardless of where they’re located worldwide, to attend the event.  A ticket for the show is $10 and can be purchased here.  Tickets will give fans access to the live feed, where YUNA will be performing songs from the EP and other favorites.
 

LA Weekly will also be hosting a contest titled “I Wanna Go” See Yuna. Syncing up with the name of her forthcoming single, “I Wanna Go,” five lucky winners will be selected to come to the Indie-Pop Offices, where the filming will be broadcast out of, and see the show in-person. Already recognized worldwide, 2012 served as YUNA’s breakout year in North America. This is prolly my favorite song to perform. When it comes on and I feel like a fucking grizzly bear from Watts haha! Some of my funnest live show moments have come from preforming this song. The way it comes on and the drop and the verses and everything about it is SO LIVE! It puts a spark in me that I can easily give to the crowd. When I first heard it I thought two things:
1. This is a slap.
2. Mr. Man would sound cool af on this.
Mr. Man and I have been making music together since we were like 10 years old so when we decide to get together on something it's the easiest thing in the world. There's nobody else I'd want to have featured on this but him. I hope you enjoy this track as much as I do and I can't wait to perform it at a show for you. BANG!BANG!BANG! AHHHH!! My buddy Tomas Barfod produced it so it's AMAZING!!

I met Kyle at the age of 9 we were next door neighbors & we've been best friends ever since.
This track right here is a favorite of mine. It takes me back to when I was a bad ass little boy with not a fuck to give. 
Kyle was off hella coffee & sugary goods the day BANG was made I get to the studio (Not even there for 10 seconds)
