BANANA ZVUK - is a DJ / producer duo from Split, Croatia. Luka Barbić and Ivan Jurić - Yuri, croatian hip-hop MC's from regionally well established and popular bands TBF and St!llness, started Banana Zvuk as a side project in 2006.

We both shared big passion for reggae music and decided to try something different from our bands, mainly just so we can have more fun for our selfs. As time went on, we became more serious about it, toured a lot around the region and also worked as resident Djs in our city clubs.

We played some of the biggest festivals in Croatia, including Seasplash in Pula, INmusic in Zagreb, and Garden in Zadar. The music we play is a blend of different reggae styles, from roots and dancehall to hip hop and jungle, remixes and mashups.
What glues all together is a great amount of positive energy, love and good vibrations we spread through our sets. Recently we started producing music, creating our own beats and making remixes.

Our debut album - Split Banana contains seven songs in versatile reggae styles, featuring some of the worlds best reggae performers - Tenor Fly, The Ragga Twins, Skarra Mucci, etc…

We love bananas because they are the only fruit to contain the amino acid, tryptophan plus Vitamin B6, which together help the body to produce seratonin - the natural chemical which alleviates mental depression - so, eating bananas can cheer you up.

Superfly is a label based in Poland founded by Marek Bogdanski aka MMF, co-founder of Dreadsquad – one of the best known Polish soundsystems.
It is focused mostly at heavy bass music which include Reggae, Dub, Dubstep, Drum'n'Bass, Garage and Breakbeat.

Except releasing music as digital downloads they try as well to keep vinyl culture alive.

Their first international release was „Dreadsquad – Caravan” which is Duke Ellington's jazz standard in a fresh reggae/dub version with 5 remixes, each moving further away from the original. It got very good feedback:

Also lot of Dubstep, Breakbeat and UK Funky remixes is ready to be released.
