For the 17th edition of the Mosaic Mix Series we turn to two of Philadelphia’s finest , O’Keef and Sean Thomas , with each providing an hour plus of quality house and techno funk. We’re sure you’ll enjoy their vibe…

With a pedigree stretching back to the early 90’s O’Keef played a vital role in pushing house music within Philadelphia's local rave scene and after a long break away from things has been quietly reasserting himself on the local scene to a new generation of clubbers in recent years. 

His production credits include work with his long time collaborator Rob Paine under the guise of "Circle", with 6 releases now out across Leftroom, Worship Recordings and Dubwise labels. Last year, he released his first solo effort on Worship Recordings with several others due out in 2017. 

Like O’Keef, Sean Thomas has been involved with the Philly dance scene for 20+  years. Recruited early on by Philly’s well-respected Circle crew and having a 4 year stint with 611 Records, as well as his 8 year residency at his very own Drumsong, his exceptional skill and versatility as a selector are evident to all who hear his sets. Since 2014, Sean has been working with Rizumu at 52Hz, a private loft converted from an old kung fu studio, a partnership that has been said to set the pace for underground techno and house in Philadelphia. 

Sean’s mindful approach to music production has found support with discerning heads across the map for many years, tallying releases and remixes for labels Worship Recordings, Sound Between Movement, Illusion Recordings, Nordic Trax, Recline Records, Warmth Records and DiY Discs.

Bruno Henriques is the name behind Seed Selector, which has been developing with more intensity since 2017. Transparency is part of his curriculum and the project seeks to represent Brazilian diversity, so far there are six releases, four original songs and two edits by Caetano Veloso, Elis Regina and Tom Jobim.

He recently had his song "Amolador" at VA Solitude released by the exponential record label of one of the most respected clubs in the world: "Warung Recordings" in partnership with Alataj. Seed Selector has roots and a lot of creativity to inspire you on the journey of life, exuding, especially at that moment, airs of hope.

We kick off here with Vortex, which is an absolute Techno monster. Tough beats & a rugged bass-line carry tripped out pads, synth twitters, subtle melodic percussion & the sickest acid lines giving us some driving peak time action. 

Next up Semantics takes up where Vortex left off. Tough beats, yet another rugged bass-line & this time tribal percussion create the backbone. Eerie pads swell setting the feeling for the quirky acid to take us away with.

Lastly comes Rubicon, up-tempo electro at it’s finest. Off beats, sub-bass & an acid bass-line set up the warm rich deep pads to carry the trippy acid melodies that will float you away.
