Legend Life Freestyle (Feat. The Raw God Legend Life)

To start the new year off, here's a new Pink Floyd cover project! The Wall is one of my all time favorite albums, and I literally wore out my original vinyl back in the day! Just for fun, I wanted to do a recreation/remix of these 4 consecutive tracks (16-19): Nobody Home, Vera, Bring The Boys Back Home, and Comfortably Numb. 

Here's how things came together:

Nobody Home- A full reproduction cover I actually did a couple of years ago. All instruments and vocals are done from scratch, except for the original background sounds.

Vera- Also a full reproduction cover, all instruments/vocals newly done from scratch.

Bring The Boys Back Home- Recorded my lead (high!) vocals over remixed instrumental/BGV backing track. I also layered several new instruments over the existing tracks to enhance and embellish the sound.

Comfortably Numb- My lead vocals again recorded over remixed instrumental backing track, including an layered alternate melody part. No pre-recorded BGV's on this one, all the vocs you hear are mine. Instrumentally, I again layered several synths/strings over the existing tracks to enhance and embellish the sound.

Anyone familiar with these tracks will recognize the interlude/background sounds from the original. I did a bit of remixing and added enhancements on these as well to make them stand out a bit more. 

All in all, a very fun little project! Didn't try to reinvent the wheel here, just polished up the rims a bit! Hope you enjoy my tribute. Mad props to PF for this enduring masterpiece!!
