Dreams For The Children is the solo project of composer Daniel Hoshor. Chillout, EDM, Future Garage, Cinematic, and Pop Instrumental influences. For listeners of Olafur Arnalds, Nils Frahm, Max Richter, Aphex Twin, Animal Collective, Massive Attack, Glass Animals, Lusine. Music that’s meant to be therapeutic, helping listeners navigate anxiety & mental health challenges. Started writing music in 2010, with his first film score in 2011, Noir.0, being nominated for best graduate film score as an undergraduate freshman at SCAD. Co-founded The Cosmic Show band in 2012, releasing Deux Ex Machina as lead music composer. Scored two live poetry performances with studio artist Jerome Meadows. Scored dance performance with choreographer and SCAD professor Vincent Brosseau in 2016. Scored 27 student films + animations - nominated for independent film festival awards. Graduated from SCAD in 2017 with a BFA in Sound Design. Writing mentor for Young Authors Project at the Deep Center in 2020. Incubating to find his musical voice, he released his first EP “Living Things” late 2020.
