The aim of Tansane is an inquiry, into the combination of characteristic spirits of musical cultures from different eras. The name Tansane was chosen to pay homage to one of the greatest Indian musicians of antiquity, Mian Tansen, who was one of the nine gems of Empreror Akbar's court.
Tansane strives, to find new and innovative production and performance techniques to blend together melodies, harmonies and time signatures into a soundscape that has the listener undertaking a journey through the music, and thereby experiencing it's ability to transform and translate the various nuances of reality. Tansane has an important role for technological advancements in their music production techniques and the resulting ability to work with sound and music to create something new and dynamic. Using these various techniques and influences, Tansane strives to create it's own signature sound through avant garde endeavors which showcase the various theories, and subtleties of musicians who have, and continue to pave the way for music to be an artistic reflection of human culture, and one of the few ethereal remnants of creativity in the sands of time.

SkyDrops is one of his forays into the space of ambient electronica, and glitch hop, where he uses his skills on the sax, piano, guitar, flute, and melodica to create interesting electro acoustic soundscapes. 


Laminus is the exploration of two genres that have transformed the world and sparked revolutions in music and culture through the ages. It is a modern revival of music that is both technical and expressive. Fusing Hip Hop and Jazz, Laminus revitalises the culture of improvisation and wordplay. Through multiple journeys in musicality & lyricism, Laminus will feel familiar in the most unconventional manner.

Ignatius Camilo - Iggy - The Bastard - Father Obnoxious - Kutta Kamina

Creating sound, recognizing sound, predicting sound... it comes from your own method... "YOUR MADNESS".

Iggy's story of belief and conviction: He is a self-taught hustler from Goa. He set out to create a vision for sound in India. Began by playing at beach shacks and dingy bars, carrying his speakers on his mothers scooter in the late 90's. He worked to prefect that quality of sound so that people could distinguish between mere music and the layers of emotion it orchestrated. Bombay and Delhi gave him the push to play the way he desired. His love for vinyl grew, and he began to be recognized as the person who's technical ability with sound was difficult to ignore. He landed gigs throughout India, and in London, Germany, France, Spain, Beljium, Bangladesh, Nepal, Croatia and South Africa. He remained true to his art form. A yearning to create his own sanctuary brought him back to his village in Goa, and Cirrus was born in 2010. Cirrus, the sanctuary that cycled the recycled, and invited producers and artist to create a rough gallery. Iggy is the director of that collective(Goa underground Tribe). Today Cirrus is the only consistent underground venue for experimentals, a place where the bourgeois is discarded and the love for creativity is celebrated. Besides Cirrus and G.U.T) Iggy created a mobile sound machine: The Vinyl Ambulance, an antidote to the cookie-cutter festival culture. He needed justice to his music and so BHOPOO Audio was born. Custom hand crafted sonic perfection curated to sound like studio reference monitors at PA level volumes. Gathering all his experience Iggy set out to make music with his team, to produce a voice and a language that sums up his entire journey. And Gandu Records was born. Today in its third release and with the singular motion of his fingers, Iggy continues to explore and build on that movement...
