"My goal with “Gangsta Gangsta” was to find an intersection point between Hip Hop and a style of electronic music that was a comprehensive representation of every element of the Dr. Fresch brand. I kept the track at 105BPM to preserve the integrity of Baby E’s verses (and the original of course), so my instrumental perspective became a crossbreed between slowed-down G-House and indie electro. As supported by Above & Beyond, 'Me & You' was developed at the end of summer 2016. It was the perfect studio session. The sun was lighting up the view out my window and I was hooked on the melody and beat I had going on. A couple of beers created a sudden urge to try singing a vocal line on the tune. Suddenly I was listening to 'Me & You'. It's one of my favourites on the album.

Following on from his Anjunadeep Explorations debut last summer, emerging German DJ/producer Ben Böhmer returns to the label for his first solo outing with a trio of melodic weapons on ‘Morning Falls EP’. The EP opens with the rolling melodies of ‘Morning Falls’ before drifting into peak time club cut ‘After Earth’. Innellea and Kevin De Vries have both broken through in the past couple of years, pushing distinctive, high-energy sounds for the floor. On the ‘Hoffnungsschimmer’ EP, the colourful tones of Innellea’s synth work and Kevin’s hard-hitting drama are a perfect match, resulting in three diverse and unique creations. ‘Das Licht’ and ‘Mondfinsternis’ are both euphoric, peak-time efforts full of stirring elements and forward motion. The title track’s more downtempo atmosphere and breakbeats balance the EP into a rounded whole.
