Solace Nerwal is a self-taught music producer & deejay hailing from Washington DC.  
Solace has always had a passion for music.  He began remixing at the age of 14 using only his home computer.  At the age of 16, through encouragement from friends and family, Solace started deejaying at private events and local clubs.  He released countless mixtapes under the alias 'DJ Ace'.  At the age of 18, Solace started to learn music production and composed his first track.  Over the years Solace has honed his musical skills, learning to play instruments such as piano, guitar, tumbi and algozey to name a few.

This mix was broadcast within my Saturday night mix show on the BBC Asiannetwork on the 10th December 2011. The remixes and tracks used in this mix are some of my personal favourites. If I had more time I would have added in a few extra tracks. 

This mix was put together in memory of Kuldeep Manak who unfortunatly passed away on the 30th Nov 2011. Manak was an inspiration to many in the world of Bhangra, Folk and beyond. I hope you enjoy listening to this as much as I did putting it together.
