Det begynner med subtile, men pulserende rytmer som sakte bygger opp spenningen i lave frekvenser. I bakgrunnen dukker det opp delikate synther som skaper et rom fullt av overraskelser. Melodien er minimalistisk, men utvikler seg jevnt, og forskjellige elementer trer inn for å forsterke den hypnotiske stemningen i miksen, og gir dybde og kompleksitet. Det er øyeblikk hvor stykket ser ut til å flyte, som om lydbølgene beveger seg uten mål, men det vender alltid tilbake til et behagelig, rytmisk motiv. Selv om tittelen antyder konflikt eller feil, forblir stykket harmonisk og flytende, og overrasker lytteren med en perfekt balansert atmosfære. Ackerman's debut EP on Play Pal opens with the high-octane title track, "More & Faster"—a dynamic mix of mid-paced percussion, syncopated arpeggios, robotic vocals, and sharp snares.

Next up is "Time Machine," a moody, synth-driven track that offers psychedelic dark grooves, punctuated by stuttering vocals and 303s.

Meanwhile, "Can We Rewind Time" stomps forward with a heavy bassline and pulsating sound waves, building to a fiery climax.

Adding depth to the release are label friends and frequent Play Pal contributors Mufti, Leonor and TYU, each bringing their unique stamps to the originals.

Mufti’s rework of "More & Faster" strips back the original, retaining the hypnotic mantra, while adding new layered synth lines that heighten the tension throughout the track.

Leonor’s darker take on "Time Machine" introduces a menacing funk, complete with a tempo-slowing breakdown before the latin vocal (a personal addition of his), kicks back in with force.

TYU rounds off Ackerman's kinetic collection with his signature blend of percussive acid bubbling, congas, and 303s, delivering an electrifying finish to the EP.

Hello :) :) :) 

Music is such a great thing. It gives me so much and is  a big part of my life. I love to dig around chasing those classic tunes that you find sometimes, I love to share music and I truly love making music. 

I started using FL Studio years ago and I just loved it - still do. I try to make some music or art every day. If you like that as an idea, and you like some of the things I do - great. That makes me happy.

In the 80's I became interested in club culture. As a teen I was involved in running a youth club and arranged monthly disco nights that ended with slow dances. After some years dancing at regular clubs I went on an adventure to a night I had been hearing about. A night for the weird people. This first night at a techno event I felt free, at home and I felt that I had found something I wanted to be part of for the rest of my life. 

After being stuck at home because of severe illness I found time and focus to start making my own music and art. In some ways my illness brought this gift as a side effect. If you struggle with illness I feel for you. That shit sucks. 

I believe in art, science, DIY and positivity. 

Music and art are my favorite puzzles :)
