Still Life is a beautiful EP that takes inspiration from the timeless art of still life paintings, where each track corresponds to a different element from the EPs cover's scene.

The opening track, "Black Tulips" sets a melancholic and surreal tone. The song creates an atmosphere where the listener is in a familiar room, but small, surreal details start to reveal themselves, such as black tulips on the coffee table. The image of black tulips serves as a symbol of something that is beautiful but also out of place.

The second track on this beautiful EP is called “Grandpas Camera”. It evokes a feeling of nostalgia through its wonky chords, pads, and bell melodies. The song is a tribute to the memories shared with my grandfather. The use of his old 70-year-old camera helps to preserve the memories and the connection to my grandfather, making it a personal and meaningful experience.

"Beeswax Candle" is the 3rd track and is a collaborative effort with the producer "kust". This song is a harmonious blend of rich and sweet sounds, featuring intricate guitar and chord work that beautifully complements the crisp and soothing drum groove. In the background, a subtle synth sound evokes the gentle hum of bees. The metaphor of the beeswax candle symbolizes the essence of honey and sweetness that mirrors the musical experience it provides.

The final track on the EP, "Teapot", serves as a fitting conclusion to this musical journey through the still life image. This tune exudes a warm and inviting aura that envelops the listener in a comforting atmosphere. The mild bass blends seamlessly with the chords, creating a cozy and comforting sound bed. The addition of foley sounds of an actual teapot creates a unique and immersive experience and brings the EP full circle by tying in the still life imagery that is central to its theme.
