Melbourne band Black Cab is singer/programmer Andrew Coates, guitarist/keyboardist James Lee and drummer Wes Holland.  Black Cab's sound is a blend of electronics and rock with shades of Europe and America in the '70's and '80s.

Black Cab's debut album, Altamont Diary was released in Australia in late 2004, in the UK in Sept. 2005 and across Europe via Stickman Records in March 2006. Altamont Diary received rave reviews around the world for it's weird take on the fateful free concert at Altamont Speedway in late 1969.

Black Cab's second album, Jesus East, was released in Australia in September 2006 and was nominated in the top 25 Australian albums for the 2006 Australian Music Prize. The band toured Germany, Austria, Holland and Belgium in May 2007 to support the European release of Jesus East through Stickman Records.

Black Cab's third album, Call Signs was released in Australia in July 2009 through Sydney label Laughing Outlaw. Call Signs features a strong return to keyboards and found sounds loosely inspired by 1970's East Germany; surveillance, fear, anxiety and the ever present state security apparatus. In February 2010 'Call Signs' was shortlisted for the 2009 Australian Music Prize.

Black Cab released a double album, Games of the XXI Olympiad in late 2014 followed by the single Uniforms in 2016 and an EP, Empire States in 2017. The alt-soundtrack album "Akira" was released in late 2017.

Black Cab's sixth album, "Rotsler's Rules" is out May 2022.

Kim Jong Chill is an eclectic experimental artist focused on merging sounds from traditional Korean music archives with modern musical elements. With a production style rooted in hip hop, Kim Jong Chill draws influence from a wide net of artists from different time periods and styles to create a novel sound elusive to many common descriptors.

Max Cooper is an electronic composer, multi-disciplinary artist, music label founder and former scientist who has carved out a unique space in music and visual art.

He holds a PhD in computational biology at the same time as being the first contemporary electronic musician to perform at the ancient Acropolis theatre in Athens and one of the first clutch of musicians to produce in Dolby Atmos.

Cooper has enquired for over 15 years through music, collaborations, and his label Mesh, to explore the intersections between the arts and sciences with installations, performances, immersive experiences, online media, music videos and live events.  Anchored throughout is his emotive approach, connecting how ideas and forms feel, in a manner accessible to us all. 
 
As an artist synonymous with the evolution of club culture, Cooper honed his craft as a DJ with a 10 year residency at legendary Midlands techno event Firefly where he formed a foundational relationship with Architecture Social Club, with whom he still collaborates on extravagant immersive installations.

"I want to encourage the acceptance of electronic music as an art form like any other. Bringing electronic music and abstract audio-visual projects into concert halls, museums and galleries is liberating - the art world opens up doors to communicate in ways that aren’t possible elsewhere."
  
Pivoting from computational biology to electronic music might not seem like the most natural career transition, but for Cooper the commonalities are obvious:
