The Queer Northern-Ireland born Cormac revered by peers, queers and artists alike is marking the end of the year with a first curated VA compilation under his belt on his multidisciplinary imprint Polari Records. The release is out 15th of November, 2022.

"No Tears In The Backroom Vol.1" is a heady 8-track VA featuring the already established Polari affiliates as well as alluring newcomers to the label. Cormac‘s Polari Compilation serves as an unpretentious boisterous sonic outing and it offers a fun and loving home to the Polari chosen family.

"This is the first Polari Compilation and I'm happy to present such a strong debut. The title is in reference to a lyric from my track "Sparks". Sometimes I receive tracks that don't quite fit an EP or story, so the tracks featured are in one way stand alone tracks, but they also make sense as part of a family. They are a family of Polari rogues I guess, rogues that I love a lot." - says Cormac.

Although featuring varied vibrant tracks from a diverse palette of artists, No Tears In The Backroom Vol. 1 remains cohesive throughout. The compilation includes contributions from Davis, Brynjolfur, Timothy Clerkin, Hard Ton, REES, ROTCIV, Sean Den and Budino.

Schrödinger’s Box is proud to unveil the latest EP from Catalonia’s own Adrian Marth (SXDNS188), a standout name in the dark side of the electronic music scene. Known for his analogue-driven sounds and dance-inducing productions, Marth brings a fresh perspective to the label with a collection of five tracks – four blood-thirsty originals and a fangy remix by Legowelt – that explore the nuanced interplay between light and dark, rhythm and melody. Comprised of raw recordings, spontaneously conducted between 2012 to 2020 in Venice and later in Milan, Machinete are Marco Segato (La Serpiente) and Pietro Giubilato (TLXCO) executing and modulating rough post-industrial beats into pummeling electro structures with a brute sense of nocturnal acid in the air which strives to bring power to its knees.

All revenues from this album will be donated to The Ghassan Abu Sittah Children's Fund (gascf.org). The fund provides medical assistance to children in critical need and supports the medical sector in Gaza and Lebanon.

Berlin-based French artist Vonverhille and Parisian composer REMO, the duo behind DEF MUSIC, unveil their debut EP Life Drawing on LAN—a bold exploration of EBM and proto-trance.

Fusing REMO’s deep-rooted psytrance and bass influences with Vonverhille’s signature experimental and electro sound, the release channels their distinct musical journeys into a raw, club-driven experience.
