Esta edición de Raíces es muy especial. No suelo hacer este tipo de dedicatorias, pero esta vez sentí que era necesario. El mix de este mes está dedicado a un DJ y amigo que nos dejó hace unas semanas: Alex Kentucky. Un referente del Deep y de Ibiza con de su mítico programa en Ibiza Global Radio y su sello Be Adult Music. Pero, por encima de todo, una gran persona. Este es mi pequeño homenaje

This edition of Raíces is very special. I don’t usually make this kind of dedication, but this time it felt necessary. This month’s mix is dedicated to a DJ and friend who left us a few weeks ago: Alex Kentucky.
A true reference in Deep and in Ibiza with his legendary show on Ibiza Global Radio and his label Be Adult Music. But above all, he was a wonderful person.
This is my small tribute.

Edson Abreu, descobriu sua paixão pela música eletrônica aos 06 anos de idade e ressignificou sua relação com essa arte na vida adulta como cluber. Inspirado por artistas como Kyotto, GMJ, Roy Rosenfeld e Hernan Cattaneo, ele se especializou nas vertentes do organic e progressive house, criando experiências sonoras com grooves marcantes e narrativas progressivas.

Com uma trajetória curta e notável, Edson Abreu já se apresentou em grandes festas e clubs, dividiu a cabine com Paul Deep (AR) na Terrace, abriu a pista para Eli Iwasa e Albuquerque na Ekho, alcançou grande destaque se apresentando em floripa no Hangar T6, assim como realizando sua estreia na DEDGE SP em Julho de 2024.

Nos decks, se expressa criativamente, conduzindo sua audiência por jornadas eufóricas, singulares e inusitadas.

Essa é a assinatura artística de Edson Abreu.

Fundou o coletivo SENS em São Paulo, que representa e promove o Progressive e Organic House. Recebendo mais de 125 artistas nos últimos 03 anos.

Edson Abreu discovered his passion for electronic music at the age of six and later redefined his relationship with this art form as an adult clubber. Inspired by artists such as Kyotto, GMJ, Roy Rosenfeld, and Hernan Cattaneo, he specialized in the styles of organic and progressive house, creating sound experiences with striking grooves and progressive narratives.

With a short yet remarkable journey, Edson Abreu has already performed at major parties and clubs, shared the booth with Paul Deep (AR) at Terrace, opened the dance floor for Eli Iwasa and Albuquerque at Ekho, gained major recognition performing in Florianópolis at Hangar T6, and made his debut at D-EDGE São Paulo in July 2024.

On the decks, he expresses himself creatively, leading his audience through euphoric, unique, and unexpected journeys.

This is the artistic signature of Edson Abreu.

He also founded the SENS collective in São Paulo, which represents and promotes Progressive and Organic House, hosting more than 125 artists over the past three years.
