What's up Desert Hearts Family!

The ever-elusive TÂCHES makes his EP debut on Desert Hearts Records with Notes on Grains, a two-tracker that blends in effortlessly with our label’s mystical, sand-whipped sound.
 
After attending one of our Desert Hearts Festivals last year, the former self-described “shallow house” producer adopted a new sound and philosophy of “Home is where the Heart is,” resulting in the dreamily melancholic tech house heard in his remix of crew member Marbs’ “Tusks & Tales” and Eli & Fur collaboration “Lookalike,” the latter getting a high-profile placement in Hannah Wants’ ‘fabriclive 89’ mix.
 
‘Notes on Grains’ sees TÂCHES front and center as he continues to explore his new sonic path, evoking images of elaborate fireside rituals in the dead of night in “Slalom” with its serpentine sax riffs, moody percussion, and delicate flutes. On the B-side, “Intentions” gets emotional among the 4/4 stomps, its lingering chords capable of inducing profound life realizations when played at sunrise. This EP is some proper tripped out Desert Hearts steeze that we know you're going to enjoy.

Both 'The Beginning' and 'Sleepwalker' form a cohesive whole on this EP, and playing them side by side gives a nice blissful journey into another realm. Oldrich Sic Jr. is no stranger to MYR's growing list of world-class contributors, and his newest release comes in the form of an explosive remix package of his hard-hitting release ‘Well’, taken from his EP ‘Down to Detail’, previously released on the German imprint. A difficult selection to begin with, the creative masterminds behind the remix edition collectively chose the track due to it's the stable path with many elements that could be stripped down groove by groove for what would ultimately be one of the German label's most significant projects to date.

Stepping up to the plate, label boss Goeran Meyer brings a broken down deep-house approach into the remix EP with his version encompassing intricately crafted drums with tightly syncopated, rhythmic stabs that give his song a darker, derelict feel which was a nice touch from the warm punch and energy from Oldrich's original.

Look out for this fantastic remix package due for release on 12.07.2019 on all significant digital portals as the MYR discography continues to expand its widening array of emotionally constructive dance music.

With lots of atmospheres, lush pads, hypnotic arpeggios and a groovy bass line, Morttagua is able to immerse its listeners into a true voyage in between esoteric vocals and addictive's riffs. Such a strong combination of sound engineering could not go unnoticed by the Progressive House maestros, as 'Imentet' shined in the massive Glastonbury Festival crowd through the legendary back to Back between Nick Warren and Hernan Cattaneo. 

To remix this amazing track we invited the Colombian progressive rising star Kamilo Sanclemente for his official Timeless Moment debut. Together with his studio partner Dabeat, Kamilo made a superb effort transforming Imentet in a journey through his trademark hypnotic melodies.
