Madrid-based DJ/producer Argia steps into the Rebellion spotlight for the first time with ‘Don’t Fight’, a dynamic four-track EP set for release on 17th October. I wanted each track to feel alive; ‘Don’t Fight’ with its powerful drums, ‘Tulips’ with its sexy vocals, ‘Yo Quiero’ and its mental synthesis work, and the cherry on top collaboration with Adana Twins ‘Turn Around’ that makes you travel in time. There’s a sense of spontaneity throughout, like capturing a moment that wasn’t planned but just felt right. I’ve been digging deep into sample work lately—reshaping sounds until they become something unexpected. Each year, Sounds of Khemit opens a new chapter in its mythological journey. Following in the footsteps of Osiris and Medjed, we now call upon Khonsu—the ancient Egyptian god of the moon, time, and travel.
Known as the Wanderer, Khonsu embodies movement and transformation. He governs the passage of time, the cycles of night and day, and the unseen energies that guide us through transition. As a lunar deity, he illuminates the darkness not with blinding force, but with subtle radiance—inviting exploration, introspection, and timeless rhythm.
SoK042 – Khonsu reflects this spirit in sound:
