Young producer Imbrasasm decided to make an EP in which he links political dogmas, speeches with music. All in all, whole EP tracks are different and connected at the same time. The main difference between tracks is that all political ideas or speeches used in tracks are different and not identical. The main message of the EP is to transfer those ideas to the public. All EP songs have different drums and sounds. It should be you, who decides if the EP is political or not.

We hadn't reviewed a Techno track for quite some time. We missed it! Dinosaurs are famous for being big fans of fat & smelly Techno cuts. This one is coming soon on the freshest delivery of Exodus Recordings, an interesting Italian imprint born from the ashes of Syntheke Records and focused on Hypnotic, Melodic, and Raw 4x4 flying beasts.

"Exodus Chapter 01: Genesis" comes with four well-constructed cuts made with love by a skilled team of young and eager virtuosos: Danny Lo Scippo, go-Dratta, Riccardo Noè, and CNS got their motors running and came with their respective fast-paced contributions for the compilation. Premiered here, the label boss' two cents.

Named after the creator deity and god of the sky in Zoroastrianism, an Iranian religion and one of the world's oldest organized faiths, based on the teachings of the Iranian-speaking prophet Zoroaster, Riccardo Noè's "Ahura Mazda" delivers its message with a plethora of trippy and atmospheric pads and a powerful gait that result in a godlike Leftfield Techno experience.

Time travel, destroyed empires, conquered galaxies... Milan-based Acidgigi’s Energy Control EP is the soundtrack of a futuristic fairytale.

Just like his DJ sets, the three original cuts on Energy Control can’t be confined to one genre alone. Yet they all share something in common driving beats guaranteed to make you dance.

Breaks and rave samples from the hardcore continuum combine with an irresistible lead in the opening I’ve Never Been But I Love It - a lucid crystallisation of Acidgigi’s eclectic influences. Carne serves up an instantly memorable cut of dark 2-step, before Energy Control floats into a distant fantasy landscape of luscious pads and grandiose amens.

To round off the release, Australian Guy Contact applies his signature housey touch to the opening track - vocals and a killer groove certain to set the clubs alight.

PREMIERE : Acidgigi - Energy Control

Boulder, CO - On December 22, Craig Heneveld releases “μMod,” a snappy hypnotic techno track that builds its foundation on a punchy 909 kick and crisp hit hat. The song is led by a
sinister synth arpeggio that snakes around the song, leaving delays of digital dust and reverb in its wake. The track ebbs, flows, and sometimes stretches like it’s pulling apart at its seams

It’s this sonic elongation where the track gets its title, “μMod.” The real μMod is a knob on the Eurorack module Mimephon which provides a modern take on sound copying, echo, and
repeating devices, creating a unique delay effect that also takes on characteristics of vibratro, flanger, and chorus. This combination, when the timing is adjusted with this knob, creates this effect that sounds like light is being sucked into a black hole, where its particles bend into the singularity.

Craig’s musical growth and evolution are unconventional. He takes divergent influences from punk rock and Latin music, and even studied tabla and sarod under some of the world’s more
predominant Indian classical music gurus like famed practitioner Zakir Husain and students of the legendary Ali Akbar Khan.

This delicate art of Indian polyrhythms resonated deeply with Craig, leaving an indelible mark on his sound. These lessons significantly influenced his perception of rhythm and time, building a layer of complexity in his work even though the traditional Indian sounds weren't explicit in his compositions.

"It was the middle one,"--an Easter Egg for those of you hoping to score Interbay points by looking at today's thumbnail.  

My kid is always getting on me whenever I try to use new slang...but they also get on me whenever I drop an out of date bit of slang or meme.  I can't help being old--I fought it as long as I could, you know.  (...and now I'm tired.)  

So, yes, today's track IS based on an old meme.  What I'm banking on is that it is so old that it is brand new to some of you...or, more likely, so cringe that it is come full circle to being funny again.    

Your mileage may vary.  

So, I normally start with an empty FL Studio project--this time, I tried starting off with the FL Studio "Electro" template.  And yet, it didn't quite turn out to be a pure electro track.  

It ended up sounding...just like Interbay.  (Imagine that?)  

A bit glitchy and a bit bass house-y for pure electro, this has got all kinds of post-punk synth pop energy built into it.  

This has been a sound that I've been delving into a lot recently, I recognize.  I do have some post-punk, some house, some 60s, some lounge, some straight up rock and even a piano ballad--all being experimented on here in the mobile Labs unit...but it might be awhile before you are allowed to check out any of those (based on the recent explosion and fire I just noticed--though, that could be THIS track's fault.)  

(Amusing behind the scenes note--one of the tracks being worked on is ALSO called "Boom"--but there will be a different parenthetical than this one has. )  

Well, as I guess my assistance is requested in putting out the fire...so, I'll leave it here.  

Please remember to listen, like, repost, share, comment, playlist and follow along for more (did you read the note that at the end of YESTERDAY's posted track, we ended up with 25,000 minutes of Interbay on SoundCloud exactly?  I mean, posting THIS kind of ruined that...but still hard to believe there's THIS MUCH Interbay for you to check out--especially when more is being added EVERY SINGLE DAY (so far!)"    

Also, I'm still encouraging people to specifically check out the Interbay track from two days ago, titled "Salvation in Our Chemistry"--it's got a Portishead meets Bjork vibe...and I fear that the algorithm has been cruel to it, and its been slept on.  If you could check THAT out...and like it, too...that would also be appreciated!)
